Positive take - five points down after playing what was probably one of our worst halves of the season. I'll take it. Hopefully we learned our lesson with the bigs and the drop coverage. I'd go small the rest of the way until they make an adjustment. Run out Smart, White, Brown, Tatum, and GWill with Brogdon, PP, and Hauser off the bench with Griffin playing spot minutes with one of the Splash Bros or Pool out. Rotate Tatum at C for spels as need be.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

  • GOT IT!!!
If Tatum steps up the C’s can still win this. If not it’s a loss, Curry will get rolling in the 2nd half.

If we didn't have Brogdon we'd be getting blown out right now. He's the only Celtic who didn't look rattled by the Warriors, probably because he wasn't here last year.

Our bad defense and bad rebounding have killed us, along with Tatum's brain freeze.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

They better come put with a purpose.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Why aren’t we calling timeout to advance the ball?
you know Joe doesn't call timeouts

I know, but that was just dumb.  We had some momentum.  Get a look at a 3 instead of a 1/2 court chuck.

Don't you dare question Joe Mazzula on this board.
Likely to get you suspended.

I want to see Joe make an adjustment for once. We can't afford to have Kornet out there again in the second half, he's a poor matchup for the Warriors. Go small or bring Kabengele out there.

Well at least we know it's not Wiggins or GSW but Tatum is just off against those unis

Grant with only 2 shots.  C’s need to find him more.

Only 2 turnovers.  Not bad, now start making shots.

Thanks to that late flurry we actually won the quarter.

It has been a frustrating game in a lot of ways.  We just don't get away with mistakes against GS.  Give up an open shot?  Curry and Thompson don't miss those, even from 35 feet.  Force a deflection or a wild pass?  Somehow the ball is going to find Thompson tonight.  Hopefully a few more of those bounces go our way in the second half.

Credit to Draymond though - he very rarely makes mistakes on defense and except for the last couple of minutes he almost single-handedly stops our transition game.  That happened in the Finals too.  The Warriors' perimeter defenders are doing a decent job on Tatum but it's Draymond's help that has mostly locked him up.

The silver lining is that Brown and Brogdon have played well and we're taking care of the ball.  Hope those things continue.

Defense was terrible in the first half. GS was coming off picks at will nailing uncontested shot after uncontested shot.  I would expect that to change in the 2nd half.

I was thinking the same thing.

as annoying as it was listening to Perk and House argue at the half, I'll still take that over listening to Stephen A
