And another offensive rebound leading to a bucket. Playing with no heart.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

So I guess we are truly committed to this drop coverage and getting obliterated by Curry and Thomson off screens.

Just zero sense for this. Another dogma like the extreme timeout philosophy.

The thing is - this is an *extreme* drop coverage. Griffin is dang near at the rim on these PnRs. That's inexcusable. And it's clearly not working, just like it didn't work in the Finals.
As somebody else mentioned, the drop coverage is due to personnel. Blake and Luke can't play up. If they try, GS will get layups and dunks at the rim. They're great shooters but I bet they shoot a higher percentage on open dunks than jumpers.

Yeah small ball is the way vs Golden State. I'd take a chance at Green/Looney roll than Klay/Curry three. Put Grant in Center and switch. Heck Id put JT on C and play 3 guard lineup.

Especially when you boast a three headed monster in Smart, White, and Brogdon, too.

Heck, it's not like the bigs have helped with the offensive rebounding either.
or defensive rebounding

Boston wants no part of this game tonight. Effort is dismal.

Holy crap, Joe. Look what happens when you actually adjust to what's going on with the game. Finally made the right call to go small.

More defensive mistakes.  But Mazzula finally makes a reasonable adjustment.  Might be too late.

Why aren’t we calling timeout to advance the ball?
