I don't like the way Kidd is using the roster. He is playing small with only one big man. He should play two bigs. He has two incredible offensive players in Kyrie & Luka. Their ability to score allows them to play two bigs without compromising the offense. Let them do that. Give them more help on D and on the boards.

Play Christian Wood exclusively at PF. Keep one of Dwight Powell or JaVale McGee on the floor at all times to play alongside him. Give them twin shot-blockers.

Kidd is playing too small. Go bigger.
I agree, with two poor defending guards, they need defenders.  Losing DFS in the Irving trade really hurt them.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Lakers up to 11th and just 2.5 games behind the 6th seed Mavs.  They are a much better team after all the moves and DLo didn't even play (and they were 6 of 34 from 3).  Bad loss from the Mavs given the big lead they had.

I mean LAL is literally also tied with Portland and OKC, two teams who currently have the tiebreaker over LAL as well. It's just LAL has played 2 more games so they are currently ahead.

It's going to be a close race for a lot of West teams from the 6th seed to the 13th. I think ultimately LAL is going to be in the play-in tournament, which I guess is cool but if they don't advance from that then does anyone really care.

Lebron fans do (see how this conversation started)Not making the playin two years in a row when his fans are crying he is still a top ten player somehow would kind of end that discussion.

Has the dreaded  “Kyrie Effect” not making teams better now landed in the lap of the Dallas Mavericks ?

Lillard with 41 in the first half vs. Houston.  Will he get 80 vs. the hapless Rockets?

Another Denver loss today would help make up for Phoenix’s choke against Milwaukee earlier today. Not starting off well, though.

On only 19 shots.  Amazing efficiency.

Clippers are already showing how to expose and take advantage of Jokic defensively. He's been caught ball watching and being too slow to get out to the perimeter several times already, leading to threes.

Can't wait to watch teams gameplan against this with Denver.

Potter I love your nba takes generally, but what in the world are you talking about? Clippers got dominated and are down thirteen after one? What have the clippers figured out

Jokic absolutely destroying the clippers right now. I’ve had more than my share of bad takes and maybe the clippers come back and win this. But jokic is absolutely dominating them right and saying they figured him out was wild.

Jokic is a magician out there. What a fun player to watch. Zubac being out is killing the Clippers.
