Nash just got tossed. Officials are completely out of control this year. Never seen anything like it.
It's totally out of control. Power tripping to a whole new level. Cracking down is all well and good, but I would like to remind the NBA that respect is difficult to win in the face of gross incompetence, as seen in NBA officiating.
It is the beginning of the season. Trying to prove a point. Feels like they overemphasize  stuff early in the season.

I have a feeling the Lakers win tonight.  Not even watching the game so nothing that I 'm seeing.  Just a gut feeling.  I hope I'm wrong.

Westbrick is out, so that’ll help.

Man, as soon as Jokic  starts embarrassing Anthony Davis, AD grabs his back and his knees and starts hobbling. No competitiveness in these Lakers

The first half of Lakers-Nuggets was pretty ugly — looked like a bunch of out-of-shape rec leaguers “running” in mud. And sloppy too.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

The frequency with which NBA coaches are tossed compared to the other three American pro sports is ridiculous. Refs in those other sports get screamed at by coaches just as much as they do in the NBA, but rarely get tossed.

People say Tatum and coaches have to get thicker skin and put up with how they are treated by refs after complaining about bad calls or no calls. I contend it is the NBA refs who have to grow thicker skin and put up with the complaining like the officials in other leagues do.

Simmons sucks

Here's video of Cryrie screaming at Simmons to shoot

Simmons didn't even look at the basket, just immediately passed it to KD who did shoot it

Ben needs to see a therapist. It's sad to see him reduced to this with the talent he has. So scared to take shots because he might get fouled and have to go to the line where he shoots 40%. He's a potted plant on offense, you can't even make fun of him it's so sad  :-\

I honestly thought this was a mo post when I first read it. When are people going to accept the lakers are just not a very good team. I was at this game and after halftime there were very few competitive moments. And I haven’t even looked at their stat lines but both Lebron and ad looked old.

They did manage to break the 25% from 3 barrier they'd been struggling with...they were 8-30 for 26.6%. Small steps?

Lots of high scoring games. At this moment (4-5 games in) there are 48 players averaging 20+ points per game (ppg), 22 players with 24+ ppg and 10 players averaging 30+ ppg.

Probably because referees are calling fouls if you breathe on people

I hope the Lakers win the draft lottery. That would be hysterical.

They’re ultimately going to pull something off and move Westbrook for some depth and shooting
