Would love that for Conley, but hate that for Gobert. He’s such a jerk.

I doubt Minny wins 2+ though. Hate the way they play with Gobert - ironically, think their team works really well with KAT at 5

If you're reading this, Steve Weinman, it may be time for the Chicago Bulls to make some bold moves. With a roster that's likely to result in mediocre results for years to come, the team should consider shaking things up by trading away players like Zach Lavine, Vucevic (S&T) and deMar DeRozan for cap relief and picks. Maybe the Bulls could look into the possibility of swapping Lonzo Ball and Alex Carouso, for Ben Simmons, a move that could bring added value to the team if Simmons returns to previous form.

To take it one step further, the Bulls could consider building a roster of players with bad contracts, such as Duncan Robinson, Evan Fournier, and Dāvis Bertāns, as their respective teams may be willing to give up draft picks in exchange for shedding salaries. It's time for the Bulls to make some moves and avoid getting stuck in the middle of the pack, year after year, which is the last place any NBA team wants to be.

Pretty cool Zach LaVine stats ...

LaVine in 22 games post ASG saw him average 27ppg on 53% FG% 39.4% 3PT% 88% FT% for an overall TS% of 64.5%.

He got off to a slow start for the first month of the year. Since then (60 games) he has been averaging 26ppg on 50% FG% 38% 3PT% 85% for a TS% of 62.8%.

I'm a pretty big Zach Lavine fan. I think he can score at a high level, and when he is locked in and he's confident in his team, he has demonstrated unselfishness and tough defense.

Apparently George will miss some time, and it's not even a guarantee he returns this whole round.

For a team that does a lot of load managing, it always seems like once they enter the postseason they're still missing guys anyways

Yeah, I’m not a fan of Gobert either. I do like KAT and Connely, though.

Starters

G: CP3 vs Westbrook
G: D Booker vs E Gordon
F: T Craig vs N Batum
F: Durant vs Kawhi
C: Ayton vs Zubac

I reckon Durant and Kawhi will cancel each other out. Westbrook has been playing well. If he can continue that, he could cancel out CP3. If not, if Westbrook reverts to where he has typically played for the last 2-3 years, then it advantage CP3. The Ayton and Zubac matchup will be interesting to watch. Ayton is prone to being ignored by his teammates and prone to playing down to his competition. I do wonder if Zubac can play him even despite Ayton's talent. I think the SF position is fairly even as well.

Big advantage for PHO with Devin Booker. This is where LAC miss PG13. He would have given LAC an answer to that at the SF position.

Bench

G: Payne vs Hyland
G: T Ross vs N Powell
F: Damion Lee vs T Mann
F: TJ Warren vs Marcus Morris
C: Biyombo / Landale vs Mason Plumlee

Others: PHO have Okogie, Shamet. LAC have Covington.

I like Payne more than Hyland. Payne a true PG. Hyland more of a small scoring guard. T Ross and N Powell are both explosive scorers who do little else. Even enough. TJ Warren and Marcus Morris are both iso and midrange scorers. They should cancel each other out.

T Mann is better than D Lee; Mann can create more with the ball. Plumlee is better than Biyombo or Landale although both have short spells where they can play quite well so who knows. Covington is a better deep bench piece than either of the two Suns guys.

The Clips have some advantages on the bench but not that much. I believe the Suns bench is better than it gets given credit for. They really got a fine team there alongside their star talent. And LAC has no answer to Devin Booker. Plus they need a lot to go right for Westbrook & Zubac to play even with CP3 & Ayton.

Huh, saw Enes Freedom's (Kanter) tweet asking who should be expose next. Kemba Walker and the Celtics were on that polling list.

Can't ever imagine what Kemba did from a political standpoint, other than always being hurt in our time of need lol.

Who cares. The guy has become a clown since leaving the league tbh. All his Twitter posts, Fox News appearances, etc. basically sum it up. He's trying to stay relevant.

It's sad. I did respect him for speaking out on issues but now it's obvious he's just doing it for clout and fame

Bridges, with 23 points in the 1st half, trying to prove that the Nets won the Durant trade straight up.  Durant better get the Suns a championship.

I'm rooting for Embiid.  But if the basketball gods are just and a bit snarky, they'll have Bridges lead the Nets to a first round victory over the Sixers.  That draft day trade of Bridges might be the worst player related move the Sixers made.  He'd be perfect for their team or really any team.
