I know a lot of people don't like the whole idea of the play-in, but to me it continues to be interesting.

Both this year (Miami) and last year (Brooklyn) in the East, there's been teams in the play-in a lot of people didn't want to face in the 1st round, which has been super interesting for me as a Celtics fan.

Similarly in the West this year (LAL, GS) could both end up in the play-in, similar to 2021 when both GS and LAL were in the play-in, and most teams probably didn't want to face them, LAL even went up 2-1 on PHX in the 1st round till AD got hurt.  This year NOP is also a wild card that teams probably don't want to face if Zion comes back (though time is running out for that).

Historically, there would have been a lot of years when the play-in wouldn't have mattered, but so far the last 3 years have had at least one interesting play-in team that could wreak havoc for a 1/2 seed, and I've liked this unpredictability.

Yeah the play-in was a great addition. It adds a lot of excitement to the final few weeks of a season

I don’t mind it when there are enough good teams but like last year when the spurs got in that was just pathetic. We almost had a team that didn’t want to make it get in in the east this year (pacers) but they started benching half their time. I would like the rule that Moranis came up with where a team has to be within 3 games or something like that to qualify.

Maybe. I do think it adds some excitement for the 1 vs. 8 and 2 vs. 7 matchups as well. Having potentially a red hot team going into the playoffs and giving 1 and 2 a little fight is nice. That red hot team could be a team looked at as "out of it" but the play-in could give them a chance to get in.

47-42 Cavs at end of 1st quarter. Mitchell has 23 and Brunson has 21.  Incredible amount of scoring

Knicks and Cavs will be such a fun 1st round series. I can easily see that going 7 games

Have to say, Westbrook is fitting in quite nicely with the Clippers. Nice job by PG13 with the recruiting and Ty Lue for figuring out how to make it work on the court.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Ty Lue is a really good coach.  Doesn't really get the credit he should for that title in Cleveland and he has done very well in LA

Anyone notice the lakers are still the same inconsistent team they have been the last two years? Maybe they come back in second half but they have been losing these must win games for the last couple seasons even when ad and Lebron both play.

It's amazing how much credit they get for splitting a home and home set with the Bulls.  Feels like twenty stories out over the past few days of how they're the scariest team in the western conference.

LOL, hilarious. I remember there was another parody with Foster last year in the first round of the playoffs with the nickname of him being "the extender". Have to find it again, it was on Twitter before C's - Nets Game 4.

Man, I was so confused. I thought THAT was the actual Foster meme, and I was like, "Am I just stupid and don't get it, or what?" Haha

Davis injured again. Can’t believe it. Left the game looks like an ankle

Learned this trick from Lebron. Stops the game writhing around in pain and the. Comes back in after a timeout.
