The playoffs will be so interesting and entertaining this season.

The Warriors just moved into the 5th seed and are scheduled to matchup against the Suns in the 1st round! I wanted Warriors-Grizzlies in the 1st round, but this is even better. We might get:

Nuggets-Pelicans
Grizzlies-Lakers
Kings-Clippers
Warriors-Suns

Those series' will be so intense. If it falls into place, the Warriors and Suns will get to feel how we did last playoffs, having to go through the toughest matchups.

Playoffs should be incredible this year across the board. Can’t wait.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Yep, even the East will have great matchups (still malleable of course), Cavs-Knicks will be tooth and nail, Hawks and Bulls are 4-1 against the Bucks this season (the Heat 2-2), and having last season's ECF in the 1st round will make these playoffs amazing!

Things could change of course, but the potential matchups for the first round as of today are:

MIL vs. ATL/TOR/CHI
BOS vs. MIA
PHI vs. BKN
CLE vs. NY

DEN vs. LAL
MEM vs. NOP
SAC vs. LAC
PHO vs. GSW

Those are all exceptional matchups. Remember that high-scoring thriller between LAC vs. SAC recently (with a 2OT final score nearly 180 for both teams)? PHO vs. GSW would be spicy. So would CLE vs. NY and BOS vs. MIA. Denver vs. LAL would also lowkey be an interesting 1 vs. 8. You don't see 1 seeds upset often in the 1st round if at all, but this could have the potential to be one if LAL is healthy.

Of course there's still a week left. Seedings/matchups could change and of course there's the play-in tournament to factor. But this year's postseason could be dynamite all around

the one disappointment in those matchups is the one with the Lakers.  was really hoping to see them miss the playoffs completely and never hear the Lakers/Lebron mentioned in the entire post season.  too many underperformers in the West this year

The potential matchups are electric. Has an NBA March Madness element to it. Can’t write anyone off.

The Warriors cruised to the Finals last playoffs with only the Grizz putting up a fight, while we had to battle against the toughest matchups in grueling, physical affairs (which we might have to repeat the combination of with with the Sixers in place of the Nets).

Warriors-Suns is a dream matchup. They’re my top 2 WC teams, a WCF level matchup plus the KD history and the brewing rivalry between Devin and Klay, facing each other in the 1st round will be spicy indeed (best 4-5 matchup since…).

Then, they have to face the winner of a Nuggets-Lakers/NOP/Minnesota series (boasting a 7-6 record against Denver this season meaning that matchup is in doubt) and so on... Whoever comes out of the West will have earned it.

What's really crazy is that all four of those western matchups could easily be upsets by the lower seeds.

With the Nets winning today, they are all but locked into the 6 seed in the East now

So it's looking super likely we're playing Miami Round 1. Unless ATL/TOR/CHI can upset them in the play-in tournament.

Bucks-Sixers tonight will also be worth monitoring. If PHI wins, then Boston is still in the hunt for the 1 seed (if they win out + MIL loses one more this upcoming week). But if MIL wins, we're out of the 1 seed hunt BUT that'll also pretty much lock us in for the 2 seed as well even if PHI beats us Tuesday. So we can still learn a lot about our playoff picture just from the result of tonight's game

Mavs are down 10 against the Hawks

If they lose tonight I think they are officially done for the season. Not mathematically, but they will be pretty much out of it barring a miracle (meaning other teams ahead of them choke completely this final week)

Why are the Bucks at home playing with a blue court against a team wearing blue? What the hell...

Philly looks like trash. Scratching my head on how Nick Wright can pick them to beat us in a series.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Their bench is horrible and Harden still looks hobbled from the Achilles

Yeah, they should just change it back to their green court. Not used to them being a blue-colored team. Milwaukee...Green Bay man.

Lol Cryrie commits a foul with 1.5 seconds left in OT to give Young the game winning FTs. Mavs lose and are pretty much out of the playoffs barring a miracle

Sixers getting smoked right now.

Harden’s a complete no-show. This is probably a Sixers playoff preview of what’ll happen when Embiid puts up 40+ each game and gets no help  :P
