Khris Middleton rounding back into shape. Averaging 19.3ppg 4.8rpg 6.6apg on 58.7% TS% for the month of March.

He was at 11ppg in Dec to 12ppg in Jan to 16.5ppg in Feb to 19.3ppg in March.

Getting right in time for the playoffs.

The assists are nice, but the rest of it is not particularly impressive. Those are not all star numbers in todays NBA.

Ben Simmons shut down for the year.

Goodness this guy is an anomaly to everyone lol. How did Brooklyn put up with three divas in KD, Kyrie, Simmons and that joke of a coach Steve Nash back then

The Sixers organization has to be doing cartwheels that they somehow dumped that diva and got back Harden. Like seriously... they managed to get rid of a bad asset and got back a superstar-caliber player in it.

They blew it pretty bad themselves by not taking Halliburton. If harden walks this off-season which there are a lot of rumors of its far from the best package they could have gotten.

Looking like the Nets will hold on to the 6 seed at this rate. MIA has looked garbage lately and will probably be in the play in.

Not great for us tbh. Looks very likely barring a play-in upset that we face Miami Round 1

Samanic played his first game with Utah. 9pts/9rebs/4ast, 1blk, 1stl.  Why can’t we get 3rd stringers like that.

Kris Dunn has been playing pretty well for them as well.

I don't recall anything credible (e.g. from Woj or Shams) that there was a Haliburton deal on the table that the Sixers turned down.  Haliburton has put up good numbers. But if he's so good why are the Pacers so bad?  To not even make a play-in spot is pitiful unless you're hardcore tanking.  The Kings on the other hand have been doing much better after the trade.

Now you are correct that if Harden walks that would make the trade substantially less good.  However getting rid of Simmons and his contract is still a big plus.

Mavs lose again.  I think that makes them 8-14 since Kyrie started to play for them.  They are currently outside of the play-in spots.  The trade is even more of a failure than I expected.

Pacers record with Haliburton 28 wins 28 losses
Pacers record without Haliburton 5 wins 15 losses

They have been a solid .500 team with him. He has just missed too many games and they have only played at a 20 win pace without him.

Yeah Halliburton is definitely a difference maker. Record speaks for itself. As for the 76ers there was very credible reporting they had a chance to get him. And believe it or not simmons had substantial more trade value than sabonis at the time this all happened.

Very excited for their fans, to be honest. It's been a rough decade and a half.

Happy for the Kings. Hope they go on a run and light the beam a lot. Their home playoff games will also be ELECTRIC for sure.

As for the Mavs, I think they are done. Out of the picture already, but yesterday was another close game where they just couldn't do well in the final minutes. That's been their biggest issue for a few months now. I think sometimes Kyrie/Doncic have no clue who should be taking the final shots in games, but even if it's not them, their bench now is weaker after the Kyrie trade so there aren't too many other reliable options. And that's not even bringing up the defense. They can't stop anyone in the final minutes for their dear lives even if they make clutch shots on their own end. That's the biggest weakness with Doncic in particular, he's awful at that end.

First playoff clinch since 2006, exciting times for the Kings. They're actually the most likeable team in the West. Excited for them, hope to see them bounce the Lakers off for revenge of 2002, otherwise, win some playoff series.
