Hauser got the quick hook both times he came in. Kornet stapled to the bench was nice to see

I guess the Sixers and rest of the league should be worrying about us and another year of improvement from our two superstars who are approaching their prime years.

Tatum and Brown looked great.  Brogdon was great off the bench, but man am I worried about the interior.  Vonleh playing 20 minutes is a scary thought.

Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson

Nah, if it weren't for the Refs...Al wouldn't have had 4 fouls all night long....man it's tough to play 5 on 8

Vonleh was very solid for us tonight.  if he can play close to that level every night, we're in really good shape.  Blake had his moments as well -- wasn't getting pushed around under the boards which is the type of player we haven't had in a while

It’s a horses for courses type thing I think…there’s no way you would want Kornet against Embiid, he’s not bulky enough

And to think both Jays could have been taken by the Lakers

Instead they've got Austin Reaves and no picks. :P

Good win against a pretty good team. Turnovers were kept to a minimum. Let's get on a roll until Time Lord gets back.

So...  why is Kornet on the roster?
I reckon Kornet is seen more as a help defender / shot blocker than a physical man defender / post defender. More of use when he can roam on defense close to the basket (not the perimeter) than bodying up against a physical opponent.

So not for Embiid. More garbage man bench players like Tristan Thompson or Nerlens Noel. Guys who hang around the basket and lack the one-on-one game to attack Kornet allowing Kornet to roam.
