Yeah, I’m definitely shutting off the ring ceremony, I don’t think I can stomach this

With all the off court distractions brought about by Ime’s suspension, it’s surprising to see the team come out with poise and focus right on the first game. This team could be special.

Wasn't able to watch.  Does anybody mind giving me a quick recap?

Pretty sure I checked in on the box score in the first quarter and Jaylen was something like 2-8, so dude must have erupted after that to finish at 14-24 with a 35-piece.

We got good looks most of the night, the actions they ran on offense were good

Defensively we were pretty solid, we got better at locking down Embiid in the 2nd half after fouling him too much in the first. He kind of went into his shell in the 3rd and started shooting 3s

Jaylen was 5-6 in the 2nd. Tatum caught fire in the 3rd and we were able to push it to a 10 point lead going into the 4th quarter. At one point he was scoring at will

Brogdon moved the ball well and probably would have had more assists if not for some misses from the people he passed to

They kept Embiid to a "quiet" 26 points but we did struggle to guard him without fouling at times, despite an unfriendly whistle. Vonleh was adequate but I can't help but think we're still thin on that front. If Al gets injured before Timelord gets back it would be a stretch to think of Vonleh as a starter for this team with championship aspirations. As a 3rd big he's fine but right now he's being asked to do more than that. But it's one game so we will see

Good win...not a fan of all the 3s we took in a row to end the game.

Awesome win!

The Jays are both going to be All-NBA superstars this year and for many more to come.

Brogdon was a huge addition.

Grant thinking if he doesn't miss a shot this year maybe the C's will give him that 4year/$60 million contract after all....only after the season.

Smart with a great game.

Vonleh with good minutes versus a tough assignment.

Not sure I could have asked for a better opening night.

Thanks and TP to you and everybody else who tossed me a bone.  Love starting the season with a win over a quality opponent.

3 way tie for the NBA scoring title right now, all had 35 tonight.  Yeah its a bit early, but...

1a.  Jason Tatum 35
1b.  Jaylen Brown 35
1c.  James Harden 35

Tatum and Brown strong and finishing at the rim, a confident midrange shot, and scoring efficiently at every level against a solid defender in PJ Tucker. The Jays are in their prime now, a real two headed monster.

Brogdon was excellent; his ability to consistently get past his defender changes the dynamic of this team. Grant going 5-5, 3-3 from 3, and defending 2-5 is special, but he’s only 6 foot 5 so it doesn’t count.

I said if the bench can maintain or even build leads, this is a 60+ win team, and this game shows why. The defense wasn’t even clicking and we still made a run and put the game away with 2-3 minutes to go.

I will say Malcolm brogdon definitely showed why he is a huge pickup. 16 points off the bench, alot of good passes and was able to bring the ball up the court.

35 points each from the jays.

Our bench was huge in this game! The Celtics bench killed the Sixers bench!

A huge night from the bench and a great 3rd quarter. Total inverse of last year.
