Wild thriller Titans/Chiefs.

Titans were up 17-9 until they lose in OT 20-17. We have a feeling these two may see each other again later this season.

Remind me again why the Titans just dumped AJ Brown? Their receivers yesterday I'm pretty sure had no catches but also when you saw all the highlights I don't even think any of them could get open (yikes)

I will say though, I think if Willis gets a bit more comfortable and is capable of passing better, the Titans are better off sticking with him. Having a dual threat QB makes things more difficult for opposing defenses and it opens up things even more for Derrick Henry and others. Tannehill is just a mediocre pocket passer and they aren't going much further with him anyways (look at last year's 1-seed followed by a quick one-and-done)
Mike Vrabel = not a fan on the owner cheeping out on AJ Brown.

Asked Mike Vrabel sustainability of Derrick Henry taking 26-plus carries every game. “We’ve been able to use him and he’s helped us win a lot of games since I’ve been here. I don’t what else we would do _ throw it 50 times? I mean, who the (bleep) would we throw it to?’’

Had to figure. Irsay fired the OC, Brady, last week due to the terrible offense, then the team put on one of the worst offensive performances by a team in quite a while, with Reich handling the offensive duties.

Strangely, I have seen reports that Reich had been handling play calling for a while so the Brady firing was more scapegoat than anything.

Colts should clear out their front office too.

The Titans have made some weird decisions. They should have gotten Brady after 2019 but instead gave Tannehill 120M even though Derrick Henry was the main reason they made it to the AFCCG, definitely not Tannehill who then choked big time in the Chiefs game that postseason when Henry was neutralized

Imagine Brady with Brown, Henry, a bunch of the FA's who he lured to the Bucs and a great coach like Vrabel. That would have gotten them a SB

Your assumption is that Tom and Giselle would have committed to living in Nashville, TN for a couple years. I'm not sure that's a good assumption. As a matter of fact, I think it's a bad one.

Beginning with ownership.

Breaking: Colts are naming their former six-time Pro-Bowl C and ESPN analyst Jeff Saturday as their interim head coach. Saturday has been a consultant for the team, is in its Ring Of Honor, and also was head coach for the Hebron Christian Academy football team in Dacula, Georgia..

So Irsay was high on pills when he made this decision, right?

I wonder what Saturday's record was a Hebron Christian.

EDIT:  He went 20-16 as a head coach, with his best season being 8-5.

The NFC south will have a division winner who is 7-10 lol

How lame is it that the Bucs are in first place in their division at 4-5 and the Pats are last in their division at 5-4? Brady definitely lucking out this season.

For me, this is more confirmation that division winners shouldn't get automatic playoff berths. Being the least-crappy team in a crappy division shouldn't mean getting a playoff spot.

How do you balance the schedule? 15 in conference games, programmatically home and away, and two out of conference games?

I hadn't thought that far, LOL. I just think that the best teams in any given season should be the ones who make the playoffs. And I know that "best" can be subjective, but generally speaking, if we're going by records, I don't want to see a 9-8 team make the playoffs and an 11-6 team miss. If a 9-8 team is a division winner, it's probably not a great division, so winning that division isn't much to celebrate, IMO. Certainly doesn't deserve a playoff spot.

Frank Reich would make a good offensive coordinator.
