The knock on Mac was always his arm and athleticism but he made up for it with his decision making and accuracy. Well now he doesnt even have that. The dude cant even throw it 35 yards downfield without underthrowing his guy. I think its Zappe time!

That near-comeback pretty well sums up NE's season: They'll make a few surprisingly good plays, but mostly they just drop the ball (figuratively and literally).

Sidenote: I've been impressed overall with Stevenson, but he's made some terribly timed bad plays two weeks straight—the lateral last week, the redzone fumble this week.

On the other hand, Marcus Jones is an explosive, potent weapon.

The longer PAT is still equivalent to a short FG, so there's no reason (other than terrible weather) to ever miss one.
