The Pitt on HBO MAX may be one of best series I ever watched
excellent show.  caught up on the last episode earlier this week.  bummed I now have to wait for 1 a week going forward.

I've been curious about this but am worried it's just going to be another ER 2.0...any tips on what makes it different? Or is it more of the same but just better/still worth it?
better and definitely worth it.  seems more realistic in terms of how the ER functions.  granted some of the scenarios aren't realistic (definitely all in one shift) but they're pretty well done.  not sure what's left to put into a second season

"Black Mirror" is back on track with a really strong season. Episode 5 titled "Eulogy" is an all-time great. Just go ahead and give Paul Giamatti an Emmy right now.

I started rewatching season 1 of The Last of Us on HBO. Premiere of the 2nd season is tonight. Show is so good!

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

didn't see it coming.

SPOILER:  don't read further if you haven't seen Episode 2

thought for sure Ellie sneaking in would end up saving him but shocked the storyline didn't go that way.  Pedro Pascal can't catch a break from painfully dying in HBO shows.

Last of Us last night?wow!!!!!!!!

Knew that was coming, but thought it would be later on in the season. I think the show will go downhill. Hope I?m wrong, though.

I don't rate the series that highly to begin with and it is hard to see how it can avoid going downhill now. There's a big void to be filled and the existing options aren't good.

Yeah.  That didn't work for me in the game, and I can't imagine the series will be any better.  Initially I was hoping they'd rewrite that, but the producers were clear that they were following the game's choice there.

Well, they were true to the game at least? Doesn?t make it feel any better though :-\

What more did they have to bring you from the Joel storyline? Absolutely nothing. Now there?s a whole new plot of seeking vengeance for Joel and there will still be plenty of Joel/ellie flashback story.

That?s fair. I?m just not sure the show will be good without Joel.

Epic episode 2 of "The Last Of Us."

Maybe it's happened before, but I cant remember any show i've ever watched do something so big in the first few episodes of a season. Unprecedented television.

It will be. In my opinion at least. there will still be plenty of Joel storyline and flashbacks and more room for other characters to shine and I expect to see a lot more from Tommy. If you?re watching just because you?re a Pedro pascal fan then maybe not
