It was a fun run. Just sad it's coming to an end on a lot of the "basic stuff" (turnovers, missed FTs, etc)

they cannot fix stuff phantom no matter how hard we WISHCAST and want it to go away

face it we shoulda dominated bucks and heat and we wwere pushed to the brini ny both because we beat ourselves

really sad. i do not feel teams beat us

we give it to them on a silver playyer

hard pill to swallow

brad has to fix this trash

make team beat u

Game 5 blowout. Easy money calling that one

There are times I’d swear you’re a troll.  You were no where to be found in the 3rd quarter

Thanks Greg. Third quarter was fools gold.
Not a troll…just not a massive homer that doesn’t see what this team really is at times.

sadly some are too emotionally caught up and think irrationaly and unobjectionable at times. we saw it for what it was. sadly we have crashed and burned and it caught up to us at a bad time.

oh well i won money. cannot bet with your heart only your brain

It's not "thinking rationally" to *literally* call the end of the Celtics' season/hopes after every single loss, let alone every single run that we give up. That's what many of you do, and then when they do lose you ignore the numerous other times they rallied and came back.

We were literally in this exact same position against Milwaukee - a better team - down 3-2 and pulled it out. It can absolutely be done.

I told you after game 4 the Celtics would lose big game 5. You went in on me.  I gave you my reasons why. You argued with

Game 4, up 91-85 then 94-90 and gave up a big run to end it and lose

Game 5, up 6 in the 3rd, then 71-67 and GSW proceeds to go on a 15-3 run to basically ice it

We really have killed ourselves this series.

In two minutes, Kornet and Nesmith outscored White, Grant and Pritchard.

  • GOT IT!!!
A lot of you sound bummed just because the C's can't win the title on their home floor lol

This team is good enough to win the next two games. You just don't know if they are going to play smart enough to do it lol

The sad thing is - if we don't collapse the last few minutes of the third, we probably win that game. We gave them momentum going into the fourth, and they took advantage right out of the gate.

Margin for error is so thin to win it all, and our BBIQ and composure just isn't there yet.

TP

That Poole 3 at the end of the 3rd REALLY bothered me. Tatum and Brown mismanaged the clock to give GS just enough time for a shot.

Reminds ne of the stupid NFL teams who would give Brady the ball back with 45 seconds in the half.

It is self-sabotage.

I don't disagree that the Poole 3 was brutal, but we then proceeded to let GSW start the 4th on a 7-0 run, and then ballooned to a 13-2 run. If that 3 was enough to break us then we're a lot more mentally weak than I thought.

Sure. But the mismanagement on tge 3 is a symptom of a larger problem

The game 4 loss really was the big blow. Blew that 4th quarter lead at home.

Letting Tatum play the entire second half was a poor decision IMO. Clearly he was too gassed down the stretch.

They have a lot to work on by Thursday.

GS - 22 pts off turnovers
GS 50 pts in paint
BOS 36 pts in paint

I thought we had a bigger, tougher team?

It was a close game though.  FTs and inexplicable mental mistakes cost us. Not like GS blew us out. This game was ripe to steal
