  • Everybody knows what's best for you
Smart -15
White - 17
GWill - 10
Horford -10

Those four are why we lost

Oh, by the way, Tatum +3, Timelord +6 and unable to see floor for entire end of game, brown +2

Are you serious? Are you really using PER as a basis for who played well tonight and saying Tatum was good when he threw up a 8-23, 6 TO stinker and absolutely folded down the stretch?

Didnt say Tatum was good but the majority of our team was really bad.

Yeah, that's the thing. Tatum wasn't great and certainly melted when we needed him most, but he wasn't the biggest problem. In the very few minutes he sat, the Cs got destroyed. White with a 4-12 and -19 performance is just sad.

Jaylen gets a lot of praise around here, but he sucked down the stretch and didn't step up with Tatum struggling.

I get that Smart was rough, but he was the only trying to get things going. This game just makes me sad because I knew it was our best chance at a Title. We went from basically having it in the bag to now a well under 50% chance at winning.

HOW IS THAT UNSUCCESSFUL?! How is that a foul on Horford?!

Scott Foster was the replay official tonight, if you’re still wondering about why that challenge was unsuccessful.

Boston will get absolutely destroyed in game 5. It won’t even be close

Dude, can you stop? You're so ridiculous with your exteme pessimism. This team has literally not lost after a loss all playoffs long, but somehow they'll be "absolutely destroyed in game 5". Good grief.

It's one thing to be mad about this loss. It's completely another to go off on these wild pessimistic rants that aren't based in reality.

What do you want to wager? This team continues to make the same mistakes over and over.

They aren’t winning on the road.

They're 8-3 on the road. They've *literally* been better on the road this postseason than at home, and they've already won one game in GS, along with one during the season. Stop being ridiculous.

We will revisit this after game 5.

too many think it is easy winning on road after we won two at nets, bucks and three in miami

none of that is normal

if you ahve HCA you do not need to win ANY ROAD GAMES

just win your 4 at HOME

being GS had HC if we win our 3 home games all we had to win was 1 on road. we did that and now we dig a deeper hole and have to win more on road. GS is tough at home.

this team is way tougher for some reason than bucks and heat. they kill us at anytime with threes raining down.

idk. i do not have a good feeling. feels like a wasted chance. traditionally it is asking too much for all these multiple wins on road.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

  • GOT IT!!!
What scares me about this series is I don't think the Jay's are ready to ascend to superstar level yet, while GS has the best player on either team - and he's on a roll.

Brown is doing what he should be doing for the most part. Tatum the best SCORER on the team hasn't had one EXPLOSIVE game since Game 6 in Milwaukee. Whatever he scores on offense is deluted because he turns the ball too much to go along with it.

What also sucks is the C's got a pretty fair whistle tonight. All the ingredients were there for essentially winning the series tonight and they laid a massive egg the last 5 minutes.

Dude, we can just revisit the threads when you've said the same exact things after losses in the last series. No need to wait haha

And the same things keep happening. Turnovers and terrible third quarters. Those aren’t magically going to get fixed in two days on the road vs the warriors who now feel they have the series.

Thinking they are going to win multiple games on the road is dangerous. I don’t care about previous series. This is a high volume 3 point team that can run the Celtics off the court esp in a place where they have only lost one home game.

i said from jump street we do not want a game 7 there

we neded to win this in 5 or 6.

welp there goes moranis prediction of celts in 5. welp.

i could easily see GS taking off after this  this team loves to keep tempting fate with just crazy unsustainbale scenarios.

we just cannot take care of business at home

Ooof and destroyed on the boards by 13

Lol we have the size advantage and still get outrebounded that bad.

They even double downed on going smaller by not starting Looney and they still killed us on the boards. Wiggins getting easy put-backs early in the 4th is a low-key reason GS won this game. It kept them in striking distance to then blow us away down the stretch.

Steph, Klay, and Dray have been here so many times. That’s the difference. They’re a squad with championship experience. We can’t say the same about our guys. This is the first finals series for JT and JB as main guys. There will be ups and downs. We finally went over the hump and got to the NBA finals, now it remains to be seen if we’re good enough to win it all.

For what it's worth, we've been better on the road than at home all through the playoffs.

GS, to their credit, is harrassing the heck out of him whenever he dribbles the ball in the front court. Jaylen is getting the same treatment.

Tatum needs to be a playmaker.  We've been better when Jaylen has big scoring games; he was the primary initiator in the last two first quarters.  Tatum's capable - he had 13 assists in game one.  I'm somewhat concerned that he gunned tonight just to outscore Jaylen.

Only so many time we can go that well.  We remain our own worst enemy.  That's the most frustrating part of all of this.
