TPs to the positive posts. There’s a lot of basketball to be played!

Amen!

It's understandable that people will start slitting wrists...it was a winnable game, they were leading by 5 with 7 to go, but then they scored 6 pts the last 7 minutes while GS scored 21. We turned the ball over and let Curry and Klay hit 3s that gave them the lead, then we missed some open 3s. That's really what it came down to. People want the team to win and they get mad when it doesn't. That's fandom  :police:

It's end game management of tight games that this team has struggled with. Obviously Curry and Klay have tons of experience and know how to close games out, we don't quite know how to do it yet. Some of the shots they took in the middle of the 4th when GS started making their run were ill advised, but the ones in the last 5 mins were open shots that we just missed. This game went down to the last 5 min, that's where we lost it. And Curry had a monster game.

But I think this team can reset and win in GS. We just need to win one over there and defend home court. Certainly doable given we've already done it once. Just that with GS you can't let up for a second because they can put points on very quickly.

Understandable but way too early.

White - 17
GWill - 10
Horford -10

Those four are why we lost

Oh, by the way, Tatum +3, Timelord +6 and unable to see floor for entire end of game, brown +2

No way!  This is on Tatum.

Somebody just read the stats but didn’t watch the game.

Why didn't u watch the game?

Lol- yeah, didnt watch game- I wish I could block posters

You think we lost cuz of those guys??

Smart, Al, and Williams were horrible. Smart heaving threes multiple times after Curry hit them is inexcusable. Al had no presence on offense and Grant Williams was invisible again.

Lol. So much negativity and hate in this forum. Yes laqt 5 mn was horrible and all our guys finished the match bad.

We lost shortly in a match where we lost 16 balls and Curry finishes with 40+. We always react, why not believing in out capacity to react and win another game away where we are even better yhan home in this PO.

If we loose it it will all be about confidence and we may be the first to have this trust in our team to rebond and not whinning every time we loose.

Not just this game. These threads have been brutal since the BKN series. Not a lot of resilience in this group of fans.

Best of 3. The Celtics have the better team. Curry is by far the best player in the series. The Celtics are fortunate to be tied with how they’ve played. Let’s go Celtics! Let’s go Celtics fans!

They aren’t the better team when they cannot correct the same mistakes over and over. Turnovers and poor third quarters do them in every loss and they still have not fixed it.

All of the sudden that’s going to change on the road vs a guy who literally can’t miss from 3?

Got beat by Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole and ofc their main man.

Ime doesn't think and doesn't capitalize the paint advantage

if we stop driving we lose

we need a big we can throw ball to that can post up

guess stevens and imme dont want that

They want guys who can shoot 3s. Just mind-boggling

imagine how small GS is.

had we had a hakeem olajuwon or patrick ewing or moses malone down low anybody with a post game

they woulda destroyed GS and masde them tap out.

i mean we can beat bigs like portis, giannis and lopez and then BAM with just drives but not these bum bigs? Looney?

completely outsmarted or we out dumbed pourselves
LET'S GO CELTICS!

I have said all along it wont be easy. We will need three road wins to win this series and I believe we will do it.

I watched the pregame shows....all the Celtics had smiles on their faces except Jaylen Brown.....and we played like we had already won this thing.

Worth noting that all these guys in the warriors look 5X better because of Steph.

That’s also a testament to curry because he commands the attention.

Boston will get absolutely destroyed in game 5. It won’t even be close

Dude, can you stop? You're so ridiculous with your exteme pessimism. This team has literally not lost after a loss all playoffs long, but somehow they'll be "absolutely destroyed in game 5". Good grief.

It's one thing to be mad about this loss. It's completely another to go off on these wild pessimistic rants that aren't based in reality.

What do you want to wager? This team continues to make the same mistakes over and over.

They aren’t winning on the road.

They're 8-3 on the road. They've *literally* been better on the road this postseason than at home, and they've already won one game in GS, along with one during the season. Stop being ridiculous.

Tatum started 4-6. Since then? 4-17.

Tatum's just not shooting that well and the annoying thing is, he's missing so many open looks and layups too. Maddening

I think we'll find out after the series, his shoulder is more injured than what's being disclosed. He said his arm goes numb at times and it takes a few minutes to get the feeling back.

Tatum had 23 points and was 8 for 23 with 6 turnovers and disappeared in the 4th when the game was up for grabs.

3 points in the last 5 minutes of the game as a team.  He was invisible.  While Steph buried us and finished with 43 on our home floor.

Liam, we've both been here long enough to know that some people probably use negativity as a defense mechanism to not get their hopes up only to be dashed

I agree it's too early, and this team has shown resilience. We weren't blown out, we lost some key moments when it counted and lost the game. They're not a better team than us but tonight they managed those moments better and hit big shots when they needed to and we didn't. In fact our 3s in the last 5 min were more open then theirs were but we missed ours and they missed theirs. And we turned the ball over at inopportune moments. But I have full faith in this team to win one in SF, we just need 1, and defend our home court again.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Are you serious? Are you really using PER as a basis for who played well tonight and saying Tatum was good when he threw up a 8-23, 6 TO stinker and absolutely folded down the stretch?
