Is everyone ready for the massive overreaction by everyone including me? This first game will be a feeling-out game and will not decide the series but the overreactions will be massive. Conclusions for the whole series will be made. I was even thinking that if the Cs won game one and they haven't lost back to back games all playoffs that it would mean we would win it all. That might be a huge leap. The kind I make offen.

I'm hoping for a C's blowout so the overreaction is an overwhelming sea of positivity here.

Me too. A sweep by The Celtics would be best for my mental and physical health.

mine too.  my nerves will be shot from lack of sleep watching this series due to the start times.  don't need close games or poorly played games making it worse

No point in following the sport if we can't watch the overreactions, to be honest.

It's true. It's sports.

As long as we can point out overreactions, I'm ok.

I'll start: Derrick White is the best mid-season trade acquisition in Celtics history.

It's not so much a big deal if we lose, but how we play, especially our wounded.

If GSW loses, their balloon will deflate quickly.

No pressure on us today.  We got over the hump, made the finals, playing on the road in our collective first nba finals game.  Think we come out hungry and stress free and deliver.  If we lose, no big deal.

Start it out with 47-0 run and coast to a series sweep.

Easy peasy
Yup

I am staying away from the game threads for this series simply because of the over the top reactions. I just do not find it enjoyable reading people here call our players terrible insults, see the green lettered warning about swearing all over the place and declare the game and series over all because the Cs fell behind by 6-8 points against the team that is the current day dynasty in the NBA.

There is nothing fun about any of that.
