I guess I'm the only one going with the Celtics sweep...

So far still feeling good about C's in 6. But I wish we could actually perform well at home not just for one game, but for multiple games in a row. If the C's can go up 3-1 this series behind an electric TD Garden the next two games I think they definitely got this. But even a split would keep things very interesting

I feel like getting a split in Boston gives me more confident in them stealing another in San Fran and closing them out at the Garden in Game 6 than being up 3-1 heading to San Francisco.

Guess it's just those being up 3-1 jitters versus 2-2.

But yeah, please just defend home-court Celtics lol

As bad as Game 2 was, if they come out strong in Game 3 and win that I'll just feel so much better in general. We'll be in a great spot coming out of it.

I think they are capable of winning another at GSW if needed, but not two so they NEED to not drop both Games 3 + 4 at home lol. But also, losing Game 3 would really suck because then you're basically literally facing a nervewracking must-win in Game 4 and probably another one Game 5.

Stating the obvious because it's the Finals but they need to treat the next game as Game 7. Not saying they'll lose the series for sure if they lose Game 3 but the odds become slimmer IMO

Yeah.  I wouldn't be surprised if the Warriors did pick up another game.  Klay seems like he is due for a massive game, but Boston has pretty clearly been the better team for the vast majority of the series.

this'll likely get me booted from here but went GSW in 6.
- C's are too inconsistent to rely on any of them performing well from game to game.  quarter to quarter in the same game for that matter
- C's have not shown the ability to buckle down and play hard and/or smart from the start of every game.
- C's have not shown that they can reliably win at home in the playoffs.
- C's role players are way too inconsistent from game to game and seem to only muster one good game a series if that much.
- if the C's lapse on D, GSW is the team that can and will make them pay dearly with all the offensive firepower they have.
- even though the C's are the bigger team, their bigs aren't producing much.  Al has been solid except for his shooting, TL seems to be missing in action when he plays and Grant is playing almost as badly as he did last season.  Theis hasn't shown much in the playoffs when he's gotten minutes either - though I do think if there's one team he could be useful against it's GSW.

in the C's favor, when they're dialed in on D, I think they can stifle the Warriors for the most part unless Steph starts hitting bombs from 40 feet out.  I also don't think GSW can defend Tatum or Brown if their shot is on.  also in their favor is that the C's have shown they can not only win on the road in the playoffs but they have won every time their back is against the wall.

most important thing, since I'm almost always wrong on prediction, me picking GSW almost guarantees the C's take the title

TP for making it easy for me to say "ditto," right down to the part about always being wrong about predictions.

Mike

C's just need to play well at home and we can go up 3-1. Then it's ok if you drop game 5 and close it out at home.

I just am fearful because Celtics blew games 5 against the bucks at home and game 6 against Miami.

I'm fairly confident they win tomorrow night since they generally don't lose two in a row. But game 4 scares me.

Yeah I'm feeling exactly the same lol. Derrick White pretty much said it perfectly after Game 6 against Miami, "If it was easy, it wouldn't be us"

I want them to close it out on their court. Their fans deserve to see their dynasty take its last breath in person.

2 down, 2 to go! Got to keep the intensity up for Game 4.

Boston in 5.  Never wavered.  The C's are clearly the better team.  Curry is the best player in the series, but I think you could reasonably argue the next 4 are all C's.
