Stopped by the liquor store Saturday and found a good movie to watch tonite on HBO Max.

I will record the game and check in on gamecast occasionally, but that sums up the level of my confidence.
Just been thru too many of these to sit and watch in agony for three hours again.
I've been told that our threshold for pain declines as we age - for me that has been true.

I'm with you -- struggle to watch all the way through.  I'll switch off from time to time and then rejoin.  Not feeling great about this game -- really believed G6 was the ticket.

If they open the quarter with just one turnover 45 seconds into the game, that could decide the outcome of the game. It tells me they are not mentally prepared for a Game 7 and continue to do silly things losing the ball

either we choke yet again or we pull off a miracle type anomaly winning 3 on the road.

something has to give.

I'm getting really sick and tired of getting so close to a Finals appearance and then pretty much choking it in the ECF in 6 or 7 games. For once can we be on the right side of things

The Celtics are favored by 3. Definitely not a miracle if they win.

We could've had we capitalized them in Game 3, or even closed them out at home in Game 6. It's just a story of "I'll see it when I believe it" rather than buying into them "we can win this series with ease". Lotta folks had Celtics in 4, 5, or 6. Here we are, Game 7. Making these same mistakes over and over. It was about the C's playing bad than the Heat playing like all-world beaters (Butler did what he needed to do in Game 6 so props to that)

Butler had an unworldly game. The turnaround from 21’ to beat the shot clock buzzer? The contested jumpers with defenders all over him?  Our guys didn’t fall for the pump fakes either.

Struss and Chubby hitting crazy shots at crucial times?  Miami had more turnovers than the Celts.  They just hit some insane shots.

Jaylen’s two missed FTs were brutal. But sooooo many 50/50 calls went against the Celts. The refs were just absolutely horrible (yes the Cs got a few bogus calls too, but not enough to make it even).

If the game is called squarely today, and the Cs don’t make stupid turnovers, they can pull it out.

Butler could go for 50 today, but hopefully he’s exhausted that trick. Like he did when he beat the Lakers singlehandedly in the Finals one game and then was completely wasted energy-wise the next.

I am still so upset to let ourselves put in this position.

The energy at the beginning of last game was so poor; it lead me to conclude there is still immaturity in our leadership….particularly coming Marcus Smart.  Being our PG, you would think he “gets” and understand the “moment”.

….but as always, he is playing the game inside the game, a dangerous balance not even the GOATs attempt to do.

I am not sure I can watch the game…too stressful..  Such an incredible opportunity.

Go Cs

I've felt confident going into every game in this series -- except tonight.  hope my gut is dead wrong.

Mostly just ready to move on regardless of outcome tonight, sick of the Heat.
Offseason discussions or Warriors analysis, bring it on.
That being said.....

WE GONNA WIN TONITE!
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO!

I feel sick about it. It’s actually pathetic. If they lose I may have to take a good hard look at priorities in life and re-evaluate. Grown men playing a game shouldn’t have this much of an affect on me. Heck win or lose really

I'm with you - doesn't make sense.

Feeling very good now  8) But I’ll admit my heart stopped when Jimmy took that 3, I was sure it was going in and we were going to lose it on this dagger
