Nobody said the road to the finals would be easy. It’s how you respond to adversity that defines you, and it’s what will define the Cs. People might call Miami a trash team of useless no hopers but they responded to a 30 point thrashing with a win bexause they have heart. Our team now has the chance to do the same

I think some of our guys showed a lot of heart.  Smart and Brown....gutting out the come back to get back to only 1 down.  The game was there for the taking.  Tatum with no interest in playing this game, Grant making stupid turnovers on in bound passes, White being a no-show, Ime not playing PP enough just killed us.

But we were right there after a 26 point hole.  We need our best player to shake off the bad early part of the game and make a positive contribution at crunch time, and Tatum just acted like he didn't want any part of the come back.

24 turnovers. That is unacceptable. Lost home court and now we have a must win Monday and we really missed Timelord and Bam killed us.

Bum adebayo is just that, a bum.

Down 26 early, 23 turnovers, Tatum 3-14

It won't make people feel better but all that happened and they only lost by 6

BUT that's the issue, playoff time all that matters is the wins and losses. Game 1 was similar (pretty good game despite the injuries, BUT a horrific 3rd)

Butler was out.... Lowry wasn't moving well. We lost to Bam and a bunch of second stringers.

First home games of a series have been an issue for Boston. Absolutely a no show most of the first half

That's where they lost the game. I'm just thankful Smart and Tatum look ok after this one.

I expect a Boston win in game 4. Can’t play any worse.

It'd be nice, but big opportunity missed with Butler out for the 2nd half. Miami just does all of the little things that our team doesn't. I've never seen an NBA game in my life like this where a team just continually just gave the ball to the other team over and over again. Brown and Tatum, especially, but others are not innocent.

It'd also be nice to actually start a game fast for once. Even Game 2, they fell behind 18-8 early. I know Game 1 they did well the first few minutes but Miami did make a run and kept it close in the 1st quarter.

Then today you fall behind 26, I mean...

Pritchard with 4 assists and 0 turnovers but only played 13 minutes.

We need a bigger rotation. Our guys are gassed!

Tatum just faked the injury.

Is this the worst loss ever? Honestly, I can't remember ever being this angry at a team before.

Showed a lot of heart in this game after the first quarter but ultimately you have to execute too.  A -15 turnover margin just ain't it.

Jaylen played his heart out, Smart and Tatum demonstrated a lot of toughness and desire, but just too many d***ed mistakes.

Uh, what? Tatum showed absolutely zero heart whatsoever. Brown and Smart showed heart. Perhaps Al, too.  Pretty much everyone else was a no-show or didn't get the opportunity to do anything. Just a complete fold by our guys.

Was it not obvious that I was talking about his return from the injury?  Don't be obtuse.

Clearly he didn't play well.  Heart and execution are different things.

Naw, that looked like a stinger to me. And to be honest, I kind of get the sense that it was a bit of a "milk" thing with him. Yeah, a stinger hurts, but it's not something you go to the locker room or out of the game like that for. I think he needed a break and tried to recollect himself a bit with the injury break.

Credit to him for coming back in and not completely being soft, but I don't call that heart. Smart coming back in after that gruesome injury and contributing is heart. Tatum coming back in after a questionable stinger and continuing to stink up and actively hurt the team is not heart.

I swear these guys sit around watching pregame every game day. Whenever Stephen A Smith and the rest of those clowns praise Boston they get all big headed and come out like they can just show up and win, and proceed to put up complete stinkers. Just terrible effort on these losses the past 2 rounds.
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Tatum won’t be that bad. Boston won’t turn it over 23 times. Bam won’t score 31 again. If Boston doesn’t bounce back I will be shocked.
