Showed a lot of heart in this game after the first quarter but ultimately you have to execute too.  A -15 turnover margin just ain't it.

Jaylen played his heart out, Smart and Tatum demonstrated a lot of toughness and desire, but just too many d***ed mistakes.

Uh, what? Tatum showed absolutely zero heart whatsoever. Brown and Smart showed heart. Perhaps Al, too.  Pretty much everyone else was a no-show or didn't get the opportunity to do anything. Just a complete fold by our guys.

Was it not obvious that I was talking about his return from the injury?  Don't be obtuse.

Clearly he didn't play well.  Heart and execution are different things.

One of the most embarrassing playoff performances in Cs history. No positives from this game. Miami came in and just emasculated the Cs on so many levels. Just sad sad performance.

Well, they fought back hard. The problem was dumb turnovers and poor shooting all 48 minutes.

Rob Williams is the difference for this team.

Down 26 early, 23 turnovers, Tatum 3-14

It won't make people feel better but all that happened and they only lost by 6

BUT that's the issue, playoff time all that matters is the wins and losses. Game 1 was similar (pretty good game despite the injuries, BUT a horrific 3rd)

Maybe don’t turn it over 20 plus times and you win.

Our PG should prevent that from happening- But it was bad by many tonight.

White and PP with 0 turnovers. That's why you have point guards.

24 turnovers. That is unacceptable. Lost home court and now we have a must win Monday and we really missed Timelord and Bam killed us.

ime has to send a message; tatum cannot be allowed to think he’s untouchable. when he checks out and becomes a liability, like he did again tonight, sit him. embarrass him. call him out. dude is soft as tissue paper. a stellar regular season means nothing, if you’re a consistent mia in the playoffs.

Agreed. I don't care if he's your supposed superstar or not. When he's actively hurting you, you don't put him back in. You hold him to the same standard as everyone else. Terrible decision to put him back in by Ime.

How did we not shave any points off the lead in the 3rd? One of the most inexplicable things I've ever seen

Lol @ this scrub Miami team beating the celtics

Not yet.

Agreed anything can happen going forward but completely inexcusable loss tonight, literally a finals trip on the line and they are completely gagging to the land of the misfit toys

Jaylen kept us in it and had a great night scoring, but he contributed to the turnover crapfest tonight too.

First home games of a series have been an issue for Boston. Absolutely a no show most of the first half

We did and cut it to 9, but then for some odd reason they decided to go back to hoisting a few long 3s and then trying to get cute with the ball.

Jaylen for some odd reason decided to go at 3 Miami defenders (including Bam) AND do a spin move and predictably it ended in a jump ball but probably should have easily been a turnover. Like HUH???

Yup. I didn’t understand this. The team was in position to cut it to single digits exiting the 3rd. Instead, the score was still 15 down.

C’s made a furious rally in the 4th but turnovers did them in
