The good news is Giannis went off, Tatum had a bad game and they almost pulled it out. I still like the C's to win the series.

I'm starting to get the sense that you might think the league is rigged.

Anyone who's watched for years knows it is.

If rigged, it would make more sense to me to favor the C's.  I don't believe refs/league are conspiring to assure that every team the C's play wins.  Seems ridiculous and actually perilous to the league were it to be uncovered as true.

Bad calls today though.

This was beyond bad. Tim Donaghy already spilled the NBA beans but people still want to believe. This was a wire to wire fix.

yup. NBA favors its stars.

Giannis is a huge international draw. Silver really wants to expand the NBA worldwide during his tenure.

The refs changed the storry of the game but definitely we lost it. In the last 2 minutes it was a mixtape of many things that we did bad before January: expecting a 3 to win it from Marcus, Jaylen forcing and not attacking strongly the basket to turn it over, Tatum refusing to assume his closing role entering in à bad mood, bad switching on defense, loosing tye game, Udoka not taking the TO -for this I am more doubtfull even if a system to give a last 3 to Tatum or Pritchard could have been tempting-. Early season kind of loss. And really I am not sure at all this Marcus would have score a 3 on 3 In the last FT.

We were able to react strongly in regular season. We have to do the same In PO now. We have what it takes do it. But we must play with more IQ and esp Tatum must do 2 MVP kind performance to win and make forget his no show.

Does someone have our WL stats on afternoon games and also Tatum's stats? I think it is bad and maybe there is something wrong in his/our habits I don't know.

This game was awfull In part because of the refs. But we lost this game on loosing our offense in 3rd and In the last 2 minutes. I still believe in our chances but again a must win in game 4.

Had to leave at the end of the 3rd.  Close but no cigar.  We'll get them next game.

This is the first time I feel Tatum really let the team down.

So I missed the 4th.  Looking at the box score, Al had a great game, 22pts, 16reb, 5 assists, 2blocks and 0 turnovers.  Amazing for a guy a lot of people on this site thought was cooked before the year started.  Tatum with arguably his worse game of the year.  They'll recover and grab home court next game.

The refs were terrible through 3 quarters.

Decided this one with a final bad call on Smart's three point attempt.

As a side note, I had a bad feeling that the missed goaltending call earlier in the game would haunt us.  It turned out to be extremely costly for us.

We played like crap most of the game and still almost won.  C's will still win this series.

We also missed 6 free throws, which is inexcusable and unacceptable too
They also hit 28 for an 82.4% rate, an excellent rate. Better than their 2nd best in the league average. Better than the best in the league average. You miss FTs every game. Missing only 6 out of 34 is not something to complain about.

watched on tape delay.  tonight's hot takes:
- absolutely disgraceful officiating.  inexcusably lopsided for Milwaukee -- Giannis in particular.  how many goaltends is he allowed to get away with?  C's players getting clobbered on drives without a call yet Milwaukee gets the whistle.  more total fouls on the Bucks but man there were easily 10 more that should have been called.
- Tatum was worse than horrible.  stunk, stunk, stunk.  if we had gotten even just a subpar game from him, we win.
- C's once again a "live by the 3, die by the 3" team and they died tonight.  9-33 form 3 isn't going to get it done.  Marcus 1-8 overall, GWill 2-9 overall, Tatum 4-19 overall.  just horrible shooting.
- White actually had a good game from the floor, except missing 2 FT which is unusual for him.  C's missed 6 FTs which came back to bite them in the end.  found it odd that with White shooting decently, he had 0 assists.
- Monster game from Al and Jaylen did well.  GWill played great D on Giannis.
- Timelord still not enough of a factor in games since returning from injury.  seems every few minutes he's on the floor clutching some body part.  seriously wonder if he's going to survive this series.

- Finally, great fight in this team to come back after that woeful 3rd quarter to take the lead but man did they screw it up in the last minute.  chucking 3's instead of going for a better shot and that drive by Jaylen should have  resulted in him going to the line because he looked like he got held in the air.  C's should have pulled this out after getting the lead -- Ime should have called a TO to settle them down and work the game for a win.

C's need to take 3 of the last 4 games to win the series -- with how little they got from Tatum tonight, I think they have a real shot at it provided the refs realize that Giannis commits a lot more fouls than they call and actually call them

JT has not had a good game this series. He needs to show up in game 4. He had a bad shooting day but he tried to help in other ways. He had 4 blocks, and he had that steal at the end. He’ll figure it out.
