As a side note, I had a bad feeling that the missed goaltending call earlier in the game would haunt us.  It turned out to be extremely costly for us.

We played like crap most of the game and still almost won.  C's will still win this series.

We also missed 6 free throws, which is inexcusable and unacceptable too

C's should threaten to boycott next game

The non goaltend could have been the difference maker this game. I hope the Cs blow this team out in Game 4.

Flagrant on Giannis on Tatum and Portis on TIMELORD makes that a Celtics win and I could go on and on.

Ime calling out the refs in post-game.

Seriously, for the love of God, Boston has to officially appeal this. That is not a reasonably missed call by the ref. That was right in front of him, and it literally makes no sense to make that call there.

And it literally could practically work. We're back in Milwaukee on Monday.
This is one thing Brad never did and thankfully Ime does. Smart move - lays the foundation for next game. The refs become what the media discusses.

Idk. This loss might have demoralized the Celtics considering it came down the wire and a botched free-throw call, so now the Bucks enter Game 4 with a confident 2-1 lead mindset. If there was a road game to steal, it should have been Game 3 as that would've dictated momentum for the series.

Game 4 is must-win for Boston. C's need to bite them hard.

Not so sure how confident the Bucks will be - almost lost a game up double-digits in the 4th.  C's hit one of those open 3's late and they win.  Really want to see a big start from the C's on Monday and take over this series.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Horford was awesome. He seemed the only Celtic unaffected by the pressure. Grant's defense was consistent and timely. He's made a nice third year progression. Too bad his shot wasn't falling today. There was no Bad today for the Celtics ... But there certainly was Ugly. Tatum this year has had too many of these types of games, considering he is a top ten player. 4 for 19, with one rebound and 3 assists. I don't know where his head was today. Smart also with an Ugly game. In 29 minutes, he made one bucket, two assists and at one key point late in the game tried to play hero play, launching a 29 foot 3 point shot. And his plus/minus was the team's second worst.

We’ve simply had too many of those, and this is the Bucks. The Brooklyn Nets aren’t walking in that door.

Sorry, I’ve still got the Bucks in six.

Oh hell, Bud, did the league tell you to parrot the refs' narrative about the "sweep-through" for Smart to make it seem like it's not as crazy as it really is?  ::)

Bud threw a fit in the first quarter, accosted the refs without getting a tech, and then got his way the rest of the game. I'm speechless.

The good news is Giannis went off, Tatum had a bad game and they almost pulled it out. I still like the C's to win the series.

LULZ

bux in 5 or 6

NBA wont let them lose

I'm starting to get the sense that you might think the league is rigged.

I had to listen to the last two minutes on the radio. Makes it even worse to hear them talk about the officiating.

Man, would’ve been a great one to steal. I was emotionally prepared for a loss but not THAT kinda loss. Still gotta steal one in MIL and I think they will game 4. Boston is still going to win this series in 6 or 7. I believe that!!!!!

If Tatum has only a mediocre game this is a win. If we don’t get that missed goaltend it’s a win. And many other things. And that’s with an all-timer from Giannis.

Sucks to miss this one but really had no business being there at the end the way the game went. Gonna come back big time in game 4. Boston take a 3-2 lead. Finish the job in a nail-biter back in MIL!!!!!!!

Edit: we better finish the job in MIL because game 7 is a Sunday, meaning afternoon game, meaning forget it…

The thing I liked about this game was how the C's kept grinding after that horrible 3rd quarter and nearly pulled it out. I'm disappointed they lost, but it's not a killer.  If they keep this mindset throughout the series (and I see no reason why they won't) they're going to win it.
