Trade Mitchell to Miami for Herro, Lowry and a first round pick.
I think they could do better than that, as Lowry is an albatross and I'd expect if they traded Mitchell that they'd actually try to start over and do a complete fire sale.  If that was the route they'd go, then I think a trade to New York makes way more sense.  Even if Barrett was off limits, they could still get Toppin, Reddish, Quickley, Grimes, 11, and multiple future picks (with probably Walker as cap filler).

The Jazz would then trade Gobert, Conley, and Bogdanovic and really start over.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Mitchell is a solid player, but he’s going to be 26 this year. Herro just turned 22 and he averaged 20ppg, 4ast and 5rebs. Also has good size at 6’5” and shoots the lights out. That NY Knicks package is garbage and the chances that one first round pick turns out to be as good as Tyler is slim.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Gobert in Brooklyn for say Ben Simmons & Claxton

Gobert definitely has higher value than that I would think. Simmons is such an unknown.

Why make Miami better? I love seeing the load Lowry on that team as well as Tyler Zero.

Is there a way for Gobert to go to Toronto? I feel like people are sleeping on them a bit, they got Siakam, some other great young pieces, a solid coach and an area I thought they were weak was at center. Gobert would fill in nicely and if they find a way to add another solid player, they can be a great team

Salary-wise a package including two of OG Anunoby / FVV / Gary Trent Jr. would do the trick. Not sure if Toronto would do it

Simmons is a bit of an unknown, but the last time he played he was right there with Gobert in the DPOY discussion, is younger and way more versatile.  He is also locked up long term so that isn't a separating factor.  It'd be interesting for both teams, but I think Simmons fits better on Brooklyn than Gobert does.
