True or false:  Al Horford is playing as well as he ever has in his career

True. The TB12 of the NBA? No matter what happens, we are paying the man next year.
That would be LeBron

Putting my hand up there. I did not think there was any chance Al could do this.

Someone mentioned in another thread, but yeah also Horford smacking Giannis while making the dunk was awesome and felt like a real momentum shift overall. Glad to see someone fight back and get physical with Giannis. Giannis has the better numbers but I think Horford's played just as well overall this series and impacted his team just as much.

Game 4, just like 1984...we needed this-it was Big Al taking down Rambis.

Me? Nah I wanted Kemba gone even tho he was a nice guy. Defensive liability and playing with one leg. Would've rather had 35 year old Horford back, esp for moments like this. Saved it for the playoffs.

Al came up huge tonight. He took over the game at the most opportune time and continued to help defend Giannis/the paint.

Great time to repost this:

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Al must retire in green, man.

But Derrick White might be a good replacement when he retires. (Might be a combination of White + someone else).

PS: bring back Isaiah on a 10 day to let him retire in green too.

Even though his offense was off, his defense was amazing tonight. I wish there was another day off before game 7. He more than anyone on our team seems to benefit from extra rest (not surprisingly).

I think he'll be alright. Smart took a lot of the Giannis assignments in the 2nd half, and Al won't have such a monster to deal with against Miami

I really hope his contract becomes fully guaranteed for next season, if you know what I mean.

Yes, it was. Without Rob Williams here, Horford was the one who held down the interior and stopped us from getting over-run in the paint by the Bucks.

No easy task with an athletic monster like Giannis constantly attacking.
