Just a long overdue appreciation thread.

20 & 15 tonight...Guy is 35 and single handedly anchoring our D in the paint.

Can't say how happy I am that he is back where he belongs <3

One of my all time faves.

Great game today.  So glad he is with the Cs again.

I will not accept any Horford slander anywhere.

He's been such an underrated part of the organization since 2016 when he's been here, and is such a good fit for the team. Kind of wish we had him a little earlier in his career (sort of like how we wish we had KG earlier too lol)

I am loving Brad Stevens' first trade more and more every game

I hope Horford guarantees his $27 million for next year. Then we can all declare that trade amazing for the Celtics, regardless of how good Sengun ever gets

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Horford this year reminds me of KG's 11-12 season where he played out of his mind - he was also 35 at the time!

Yeah, having him next year is a pretty important aspect to making that trade 'worth it'. Well, that or winning the Title!

Either way, I've enjoyed having Horford and hope we can make a nice long playoff run.

TP ……

Yes he should have been made a Celtic way way before he came …..he marveled at Boston during his prime years .  You could see the sparkle in his eye about Boston even when he was on the losing side.

Yeah, a lot of folks forget that a rookie Horford was on that 2007-2008 Atlanta team that pushed our Big 3 to seven games.

Horford just oozes Celtic Pride. He deserves to get his big pay day and finish his career here with a retired number in the rafters. That’s how we treat a AAA free agent who chooses Boston.
