Chuck and Kenny saying Nets can't beat Celtics. When Shaq went with KD and Kyrie, Chuck was like: "They barely beat Cleveland. They gotta play Tatum and Brown. Ain't anyone they played tonight Tatum and Brown."

Chuck sometimes makes sense. Sometimes.

Kenny and Chuck picking Cs, Shaq BKN.

I think that’s the most praise I’ve ever seen for Boston from Chuck.

But, yeah, with his record on analysis that doesn’t necessarily make me anymore confident haha

anyone heard any Timelord injury updates?  Him getting back for ANY 1st round games would be huge.

Bill Simmons said on a recent podcast that he “has a feeling” wink wink that TL will be back for the 1st round. A lot of it is scheduling.

The schedule hasn’t dropped yet, there’s a Bruins game on Sunday, so if not Saturday the game 1 will be pushed to Monday. If that happens TL will be back for the 1st round

I believe we are playing @ 330 on Sunday

You are correct on the date, TBD on the time.

I said that assuming the Nets won, 330 it is

Cool, after the season we have had we get to play KD in the first round.
Prepare for a first round loss
Stop being so dramatic. We'll smoke them.

Highly doubt it, gonna be a drawn out series and KD will have to get injured for us to “smoke” them
I get we had a really good second half of the season but don’t get that level of overconfidence
Why? Just give me reasons. Brooklyn is currently struggling to beat Cleveland without their best big man. They need Kyrie and KD to both play 40 minutes every game to beat the straggler teams of the East. Brooklyn is a mediocre team.

What evidence do you have that the series is going to be drawn out? We've dominated them in 2022.

Hopefully you’re right but I have my doubts
I see us sweeping Toronto or bulls
Don’t like the nets matchup, easily see kd being impossible to stop and the Celtics choking

I’ve spent almost 50 years as a Boston sports fan, so I respect your fear of choking. But this Celtics team just doesn’t seem like the type of team that chokes.

Except for the cores history in the playoffs and the fact they have been awful in close games all year?

If the “core’s history in the playoffs” that you’re referring to is two conference finals appearances led by our two (at that time) rookie contract stars, then I don’t think that quote means anywhere what you think it means. If Kyrie and Hayward don’t get injured in the 2018 and 2020 playoffs, respectively, I think we win both of those championships, certainly 2020 with Hayward.

Of course you have every excuse in the book as to why they lost those series.
They choked, end of story

Tbh while I haven’t officially decided, I voted BKN in 6 or 7 in that poll thread lol. But I’ll sleep on it and think about it over the next few days. I don’t share the confidence others have here. Not saying I have no faith in the C’s but superstars do win you playoff series and the Nets have one in KD

He keeps saying a 5 game sweep--cause Brooklyn is no good.
