This Cleveland defence is hilariously bad

Missing that afro dude (I assume)
Massively. Having Markannen in their on D instead of Jarrett Allen is a HUGE difference

oh man that is an understatement.

Cleveland beating themselves. This game was there for the taking.

If after watching this game anyone is afraid of the Nets, then I have no response. It baffles me that anyone can be afraid of that team. Nets Might have best and 3rd best player in the series. The Celtics have the 2nd best and 4th best through 10th best.

The Cavs defense is awful, holy moly. But I think with Jarrett Allen they’re probably winning tonight.

I am not impressed with the Nets tonight.

Mobley is off, injured or rookie wall I don’t know, but he’s been awfully quiet in this one
15 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 assists. That is almost his exact average for a game.

Stop being so dramatic. We'll smoke them.

Highly doubt it, gonna be a drawn out series and KD will have to get injured for us to “smoke” them
I get we had a really good second half of the season but don’t get that level of overconfidence

Cavs are so stupid. Kyries had 5 fouls for the last 6mins. How do you not go at him every  time.
Quoting Nick from the now locked Ime thread:

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I’m not sure how you can come to this conclusion after watching this game. They literally needed an insane shooting night from Irving to barely beat this sad Cavs team.

Thought this Cavs team was supposed to be good defensively? They’ve been awful on their rotations and PnR coverage.

Good news, though, is that it took high level games from both KD and Kyrie to win, as well as good games from the rest of their squad. They’ll have to play over their head to beat us.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Why? Just give me reasons. Brooklyn is currently struggling to beat Cleveland without their best big man. They need Kyrie and KD to both play 40 minutes every game to beat the straggler teams of the East. Brooklyn is a mediocre team.

What evidence do you have that the series is going to be drawn out? We've dominated them in 2022.

They're good defensively with Allen. Not so much without

Nothing I’ve seen tonight from the Nets makes me think they’ll beat the Celtics in 4 out of 7. (To be fair, I missed the first quarter).

Completely agree. Mike Breen is talking about the Nets’ 3rd and 4th best players, Brown and Claxton, like they’re Joe Dumars and Dennis Rodman. They’re both awful. Benefiting from the Cavs’ inability to double Kyrie and Durant and their lack of individual defenders.

The cavs were a decent team all year that regressed towards the end.
Kyrie can play like that every night
Ben Simmons coming back
Seth curry did nothing tonight
They have the best player in the series
No rob williams

But yeah be overconfident
