Not saying I have no faith in the C’s but superstars do win you playoff series and the Nets have one in KD

I am kinda with you. I feel like the Celts should beat Brooklyn. I would feel better if Rob Williams was playing healthy.
Just something about Durant and Irving make me nervous. You know they will be motivated to go off on the Celtics.

Having said that, we should be more motivated to beat them with the way Kyrie quit on his own team in his last series as a Celtic and with him insulting Celtics tradition by stomping on our logo. I do not get our players accepting that without retaliation - the modern athlete I guess. Remember Irving not even showing up for Game 7 vs Cavs in the ECF. Unacceptable in my book.

I do like the way the Celts went out and won 2 of 3 on the final road trip to get the 2nd seed and not playing scared.

KD and Kyrie played like superstars with Brown and Claxton playing well at home and they only won by 7 points. Cleveland was asking to get blown out in this game.

As great as KD and Kyrie are, the Nets are fool’s gold. My Celtics in 5 prediction feels even better now.

Yep it only took a brief glance at the post history to determine that Scaryjerry tends to err on the negative side  Being from Boston I can say that tends to be a self-defense mechanism for a lot of older Boston sports fans, so as not to get disappointed 

Back on thread, I think the Nets should be respected but not feared. Respected because they have two superstars in their prime who can turn games. But not feared because after those two they don't have much. And we have our own up and coming stars in the Jays, and I think as a team we are more connected and cohesive defensively. For the Nets to beat us KD and Cryrie will have to play out of their skins every single game.
