I'm always wanting more shooting but I have to say that defenders are more consistent than shooters in the playoffs. Offense comes and goes but defense is forever!

no matter what if we could get 10 minutes, it would help.   Ime seems to have practically benched Theis, so we need bigs.

I feel pretty good. I think they smell blood and know the bucks are demoralized after the last game.

Giannis is gassed and with no lengthy break, it's going to affect him more and more in the next 2 games.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

In G4, Celts took a 2 possession lead on a floater by Tatum at 4:20 to go. (I think that made it 98-94.)  They led by 2, 3 or 4 possessions the rest of the way with the leading ranging from 4 to 10.  They didn't just come from behind after trailing by double-digits in the 3rd, they DOMINATED down the stretch giving them strong momentum going in to G5.  What's more, if they now pay more attention to Horford (Bud's promise), it's going to backfire as Al is a good passer and is going to find the Jays in single-coverage or open.

This is a small thing among all the other talking points, but I'd like to see Pritchard hitting shots again.

I know, hot take. But he hasn't scored the last two games and if he can't make the open shots he's a liability. The Bucks tend to leave him open, and he needs to make them pay.

Smart had a few easy baskets with layups on handoffs and deep post ups in single coverage that will be tested again; give me Jaylen and Jayson taking their guards to the post for bully ball. Marcus also touched the paint with a live dribble several times with success in the final quarter that will open up others.

Part of the greatness of this defense is the versatility of it, we downsized the lineup maintaining sound defense and the Bucks respected the shooting to open up the floor. Ime will return to that lineup tonight.

Al, Grant, and Smart have played great defense on Giannis. Antetokounpo prefers to keep moving the ball and get a switch than have to deal with them. He’s shot 32 shots for a total of 114 for the series when his average is a third or less FGA per game. The more he shoots early the better with his stamina being tested; by the time it’s the fourth quarter, it’ll be him gassed forcing shots and Jrue Holiday pick and rolls.

Also the Bucks struggling in transition defense (while we’re running) means the entire Bucks team is exhausted.

The body blows of games 1-4 were on full display Monday. A lot of great things coming out of that quarter. Hopefully, we Game 2 ‘em, big lead early and let them play catch up.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I guess they did.  Rob was banged around quite a bit in Game 3 -- I initially wondered if he was concussed.  But you must be right -- brough back too soon.  Hope he's able to get back on track for next series if C's can handle the Bucks.  What a big game tonight.  Go C's!

Update on Timelord’s injury. I’m not sure if this is good news or not…

Ime Udoka said Friday that Rob Williams suffered a new bone bruise in Game 3 of the Celtics-Bucks series that led him to miss the team’s past two games.

The injury occurred in a collision between Williams and Giannis Antetokounmpo in the second half of Boston’s Game 3 loss. Williams initially returned to the game after the injury but he experienced some swelling in the past few days that caused him to be sidelined. Williams underwent a scan that confirmed there was no structural damage but confirmed a small bone bruise in his surgically repaired left knee.

“The three days off in between, he had soreness after certain games, but you get that extra rest time,” Udoka said earlier this week. “Now, with every other night, we’ll be more conscious if he has any kind of pain or swelling, which the swelling went down. We’ll hold him out until he’s ready.” -Per Mass Live

So how do you all feel about facing the Heat? I really like how the C’s matchup. They have some players that are a liability on defense and Bam is an undersized center. C’s in 6.

Also, I missed this during the game. Absolutely hilarious by Grant
