If Tatum and Horford are sitting, we're basically tanking. IMO, should've played everyone to try to win this game, then send a skeleton crew to Memphis on Sunday.
The Bucks may decide to tank too ya know.

OK, 58.3% of us (including me) disagree with "resting" Tatum and Horford but so be it.  I kind of hate to think this way but maybe this kind of treatment makes Tatum feel more like a star. Or maybe he just has a nagging sore something and just wants a night off.  Hard to know.

I wonder too who the Bucks are going to play.  I am afraid what is going to happen is that they are going to come out with a full team and just smoke us.  But maybe they will rest Giannis or something, to even the playing field.

He's been on the injury report with right knee tendinopathy for most of the last two weeks.  Sure, if it were the playoffs he'd go, but he does in fact seem to have something nagging.

you don't have to make Tatum feel like a star, he already knows he's one! A superstar at that!

We have to lose tonight - the difference between the 2nd and 3rd (or 4th) seed is the difference between possibly winning a championship or losing in the 4th round.

We do not want to face Brooklyn, they're starting to come on and I feel will flip a switch even more come playoff time.

Makes sense.
Well unless we finish 4th and draw Toronto and JB is ineligible for 2-3 games.

The guy that needs the rest the most is JB. But he needs to play for his incentive. Let's see if he tweaks his wrist 2 minutes into the first Quarter.

I've got to think that Brown has the vaccine by now.

I kind of want to play Toronto just so he can play and we can stop hearing the rumors, or he can not play and I can be disappointed and pick a new favorite Celtic.
I'm with you on this point.
People ask why they would make the statements if vaccinated, why not just say I'm vaccinated?
Ime said healthy players would be eligible. Jaylen missed that game due to health. Al for personal reasons. Stevens wouldn't commit definitely.

I don't want to be a conspiracy nut but...
Maybe Al got or will get vaccinated if that is what it comes down to.
JB, I'm not so sure.

I hope this isn't the case.
There is a 14 day wait after the last vaccine dose before a player is eligible to play in Canada.
I believe they accept the J&J one dose.
The soonest we could play in Toronto is 4/19, so 4/5 to get the vaccine?

Agree. Preference is 3rd or 4th seed. 4th almost preferred as I’d rather play Heat in 2nd round than Bucks.

So who is spying on the Bucks fan website?

Whats the pulse like for the Bucks players? Anyone sitting out? In it to win it?

Makes sense.

Also, Brown is only playing to get his 65 game bonus of $446,429. He won't play long.

We’ll see.  I expect Sunday he’ll play only a possession, but my feeling is he plays 25-35 minutes tonight.

Bucks Twitter lists Allen as out and Giannis as probable, so I think they’re playing for keeps tonight.

Is it 65 or 66 games? Tonight is 65 if he plays.

If it was JUST a matter of getting him to 65 games they'd rest him completely tonight on the back to back, then give him the very short hook on Sunday to get to 65, since he's currently at 64.

My guess is they'll see how it goes. If the game is close he'll play lighter but still normal-ish minutes. if its over at the half he'll get a short hook. And he probably wont play at all vs MEM as a result. With the play-in tourney ending 4/15 this team likely isn't starting the first round until 4/17, that's 10 days off from tonight if Brown/others rest vs MEM. Plenty of rest time.

I like just having a few guys off. Gives a chance to work on chemistry with other guys. In playoffs foul trouble will happen and some nights it could be early (especially in a game 4). Maybe switch it next game to Brown and Smart resting.

I'd also rather play the Heat than the Bucks, but we have to get there first. I do believe that we can beat Toronto, but I'd much rather play Chicago in the first round.

Long term, I'm still hoping for the 2 seed. Realistically, that matchup with Chicago looks like the best one.
