Jalen Smith with the Mid-Level exception next year.
Happens after every game: Somebody has man-love for a player on the opposing team.  Jalen Smith is tall and athletic, but that's about it.  Jalen Smith is not making this into a championship team.
I like Jalen Smith and I'd like to see the Celtics take a shot at him but I think the top priority for next year's free agency will be a big wing off the bench. I'm imagine next season Grant takes Horford's starting spot, Horford goes to the bench playing around 20 mpg (or Horford stays on as a token starter). Theis is still there. Pritchard and White hold down the guard spots. Just missing that 6'6" 3-and-D wing.
I think Nesmith can be that guy by next season if he gets a healthy off-season and camp
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I see the potential with Nesmith and I like his energy but it also worries me how out of control he seems at times and the shots just hasn't materialized in games. I'll believe it when I see it.

Yes, definitely needs to take some deep breaths before he checks in. If he can get on top of his nervous energy I like his potential
