Don't understand why Ime didn't play Theis since Grant sucked today.

Ime runs a tight 7-8 players and doesn't add players situationally. We sure could've used more shooting all game.

Blue print on how to neutralize Tatum.
Was it 2 or 4 pts the entire 2nd half? Wow!

I kinda think Ime couldn't make an adjust there and Tatum went stretches without even touching the ball at all. They should have played him more in the high post and get him closer to the basket.

That quarter could not end soon enough.  F'ing refs turned the game around for Dallas.  This is why I hate nationally televised games.

Ditto!

blame it on the REFs..yea yea.....!!!!!

Does anybody think the contact on smart’s hand had any effect on the shot? The ball was already gone. I would’ve liked the free throws but I don’t think that should be a foul.

Yeah, it affects the follow through...

Sucks to lose and then do a retirement ceremony.

In the big scheme of things it doesn't mean much, other than confirm what a few of us have mentioned, they need another reliable shooter if they're going to beat the best teams in the playoffs. You may be able win one game with one of the Jays off in a best of 7 but that's it.

It wasn't the Mavs' D. He flat out choked. I guess he was due.

And we should've played Al in the post a lot more. Mavs are small and we didn't take advantage of it.

I’m rooting hard every game for Derrick White but I thought his missed 3’s in the 3rd were killer.  Bad bad shots.

Point made by Hubie - though Al isn't exactly what you'd call a great - or even good - post scorer.

Frustrating loss.

Talking about Derrick White for a minute.  I love the way the dude plays the game but man, he has to start hitting some shots eventually.  He defends, very good passer, always makes the intelligent basketball play but he's a walking brick.

Can say a lot of the same things about Jaylen.  He's defending, his passing has improved lately, but he's been uncharacteristically inefficient especially from three.  Hopefully it's just a matter of regaining his rhythm after that injury (though he wasn't killing it from deep prior to the ankle sprain either).

Tatum will bounce back.  But we need Brown and White to figure out this slump they're in.

Every time he got it we scored or got a foul (or both).

Yeah, everything non-shooting that White does has been great, but he needs them to start dropping for us.

Not every team can execute those double-teams on Tatum without getting caught out like Dallas can, but it might give other coaches some ideas (looking at Spoelstra and Nurse)
