Just heard D'Andre Bembry just got let go to make room in BK?

Like to give him a shot if we could.

EDIT: DeAndre' Bembry started 20 games for Brooklyn and shot 55% on corner 3s, so yeah that's a little shocking to me he got waived.

Very bad look for Joe Tsai in what is a win-now season for Brooklyn./quote]

Bremby, Hauser and E'Twaun Moore would be my three picks to be added. Have to think about last big to add.

Gary Harris is a potential buyout candidate. I think he'd be a great replacement for Richardson if cut loose.

Watching how meticulous Brad Stevens has been over the years, he had a contingency plan for open roster spots. I will be curious what they are. Maybe they are hoping 1-2 vets that could help a small amount in the playoff push will be available. Or maybe they really like Hauser, or some other g-league prospect.

This just made me imagine "what if Brad didn't account for this". As in, what if he didn't think about the open spots.

Ime: "Hey ehhh, Brad"
Brad: "Hmm yeah?"
Ime: "Hey what are we gonna do with the spots?"
Brad: "The what now?"
Ime: "The open spots. We've got 5 open roster spots."
Brad: "hahaha, no we ... no we don't?"
Ime: "Err hate t'break it to ya ~"
Brad: "... crud."
Ime: "No worries, wouldn't play em anyway."

I heard we are going with cardboard cutouts.

Bembry being available is nice. Would he have to clear waivers?

Cs only required to have 14 players and hence 4 open slots. More likely to be players with fewer years of experience because of the Tax.

Next year they use the TPEs and go into the Tax for real.

That is what most teams do with their TPEs.
