I think the Green Kornet and Denzell Valentine are elevated to the Celtics from Maine. Hauser I read is likely to be converted to a regular contract from a 2-way previously.

Hoping Gary Harris hits the buyout market and wants to be part of our title run. That would be a home run.

Smart, White, and Gary Harris. What a defensive trio if ever.

I was wondering about some wings with some size. Some names that have been waived or I’ve seen mentioned as buyout candidates: Knox, Snell, Satoransky (a pg but with a size of a forward). Are all these guys cooked???
Bembry is listed as a small forward, but maybe there is somebody taller than 6”5? A semi reunion? Danuel House? TJ Warren is an expiring and would be perfect, but he’s out with an injury and also Pacers might want to resign him.

That’s fine — sign him to a 10 day. the Cs need multiple guys signed today.

Keith Smith mentioned they will explore converting Same Hauser to a standard contract.

This was a list Keith had on Twitter and said could head to BOS:

Ryan Arcidiacono
Sam Hauser (Two-Way)
Luke Kornet
Jaysean Paige
Brodric Thomas (Two-Way)
Denzel Valentine

Wouldn't mind a couple of them finding their way onto the C's roster.

I'd prefer not to convert Hauser and Thomas; it seems like a waste at this point.  How has Valentine looked in Maine?  I'd be down with Kornet again.

What about Chris Silva?  Miami has signed him to four 10-day contracts this year, so Riley / Spoelstra must see something there.

In terms of a 3rd string center to replace Freedom and Fernando, Kornet would be great. His shooting came in handy a few times last season.

Keith Smith doesn't know anything we don't. I bet he just looked at the current FA list and made the assumption about Hauser. Any of these things could happen, but it's not because he has this killer intel. Seems like the dude is constantly wrong.

Yeah, he's got no inside info.  He simply named guys currently playing in Maine who could get an offer, along with our two-way guys.

So I looked and Valentine’s numbers look pretty good in Maine. I realize it’s G league, but 17 points, 10.5 rebounds and 6 assists sounds like he might be worth a shot. Also over 40 percent 3 point shooting. I liked him out of college.

Kornet is a decent deep bench big. After that, I’d be looking for buy out guys

I believe they said they will sign some guys to 10 days while they wait for the buyout market to materialize.
