We have signed forwards Malik Fitts and Kelan Martin to their second 10-day contracts.

Well, they’ve been good cheerleaders on the bench, specially Fitts!
Pretty clear they were signed only to maintain the minimum roster.

Went to my first Maine Celtics game tonight and found Matt Ryan pretty unimpressive.

Chris Clemons put up 41 points, though. Good time.

The Warriors are working out Tyreke Evans.  He's also been looked at by the Bucks

I don't think they'll sign him; he's not worth cutting somebody and adding luxury tax for.

But, for us, is he worth the gamble?  He's got to have at least as much of a future as Fitts, right?  He's got great size and he used to be a guy who could fill the box score.  Obviously, at 32 years old with 3 years of rust he's not the same guy he was, but it's better to sign a has-been then a never-will-be, right?

Absolutely. I bet Evans can still get to the cup.

How was your experience going to a Maine Celtics game? Any word on Valentine.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I don’t know, if any other additions to the team are considered, but I wonder what is the situation with Moses Brown from the CBA standpoint. He signed a 10-day contract with the Cavs, so after this deal ends will he be eligible to sign with the Celtics (next contract lifts the post-trade restriction) or are 10-day contracts different in some way and the restriction stays? I like the guy, but this detail intrigues me anyway. Any ideas?

The Celtics have 4 very healthy centers on the team and another that can play center in a small ball lineup.

Why in the world would this team need another center on it's roster?

I thought I was clear that my question is about the details of how the CBA works, but I guess I might have to be more precise with my wording.

The only way the Cs should add a center is if it's an extra big body to throw at Embid (a healthy Baynes, etc). Moses is not that.

Been said a million times, but we need a wing off the bench.  We have White to spell the guards and Theis to spell the bigs....but a big hole at the backup wing spot.
