I can't help but feel like there was another deal in the works that fell through.

Isn't there always? It's DA's legacy.

Mike

Brad did trade for a combo guard with a less than reliable shot and an undersized center.

Definitely feels Ainge-esque to me.

That’s what you said when he drafted Jaylen Brown. You aren’t saying that much anymore for some odd reason.

The writing is on the wall. Houston will buy out Schröder and he will sign with the Lakers almost immediately.

Surprised Brad moved Freedom. Thought he would be useful in a series against Philly as a big body to throw at Embiid.

He didn't look useful all year....

I agree with this. Seems like a fun guy to have on your team at this stage, but all those little bunnies he used to get were getting blocked this year.

It's like the team is chasing it's own tail... we keep reacquiring and trading the same guys.  Horford twice, Kanter twice, Theis twice.
This stuff makes me really uncomfortable about Stevens as GM.

Horford and Kanter made sense, more or less.  Taking Horford to get out from under Kemba, and then signing Kanter as a playable third-string big.  Fine.

This Theis deal is just odd.

THeis plays very well with Tatum and can shoot...

Theis shooting under 30% from 3 since being traded by Boston.  I think that part of his game is gone.  Like Al's.

I think he'll have a few other teams show interest. Could see the Bucks and Nuggets showing interest. I think both are better options for him.

Didn’t Nash guarantee that Harden wasn’t going anywhere?

Can he still make 15 footers?

What was he realistically supposed to say? "Yeah, he may go to Philly." I live in the NY area and if he even said "I don't know," the media would've went insane - more insane than it's been and that's saying something.
