It's like the team is chasing it's own tail... we keep reacquiring and trading the same guys.  Horford twice, Kanter twice, Theis twice.
This stuff makes me really uncomfortable about Stevens as GM.

Horford and Kanter made sense, more or less.  Taking Horford to get out from under Kemba, and then signing Kanter as a playable third-string big.  Fine.

This Theis deal is just odd.

THeis plays very well with Tatum and can shoot...

I can't help but feel like there was another deal in the works that fell through.

Isn't there always? It's DA's legacy.

Brad’s grade: D +

Seems like all the moves by Brad are lateral, at best?

I think we're a bit worse off. Richardson was one of our better shooters. He was also our most consistent wing outside of the Jays.

I love Theis, but not sure where he fits in the Timelord/Al/Grant rotation.

Just weird moves.

Back to being small, too. No players On the C’s over 6’9”

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

What an odd deadline for the Celtics. Brad had a decent free agent period. Then trades them all, & doesn’t get much better. Brad is not great at trading. He’s taken an L on almost everyone of them.

At least they didn’t give up on Pritchard. Would hate for him to go off in another uniform. Because if given the opportunity, that’s exactly what he will do.

Me too.  Especially when an asset is attached to unload someone and then assets are also included to reacquire the same guy.

We were so close to getting both Simmons and Harden. White was the consolation.

Brad did trade for a combo guard with a less than reliable shot and an undersized center.

Definitely feels Ainge-esque to me.

I think this means more playing time for both Pritchard and Nesmith, and possibly Hauser too.

Brad also rebuilt his favorite two big lineup with Horford and Theis.

Surprised Brad moved Freedom. Thought he would be useful in a series against Philly as a big body to throw at Embiid.

Quite a gamble.

He didn't look useful all year....
