Last night. It was so vivid in fact, that I woke up excited to read the news and see who else was in the trade.  It's not very exciting, but we traded Jaylen for Josh Giddey and Shae Gileous Alexander.

Favors would needed to be added in real life, I was just curious if any poster would be interested In a package like this.  I think I created this because my dream is a tall pass first PG. Giddey is 6'8" and SGA would give us scoring to replace Jaylens.

Hypothetically if they added Luguentzz Dort who is 22 years old and avg 16ppg, plus Giddey and SGA. How many posters here would turn down that trade for Brown.

16 ppg 4 rpg Dort 22 years old
11 ppg 7 rpg 6.5 apg Giddey 19 years old
22 ppg 5 rpg 5 apg SGA 23 years old

That package would be insane to turn down IMO

I would do this in a heartbeat... Can't imagine why OKC would though?

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Do your dreams ever come true?  If so, I need to pay closer attention.

Indeed they do NG. Time to get Giddy about Giddey.

Are you saying you wouldn't do this? If you didn't know Dort is a fantastic defender as well.

None of those guys can shoot. SGA is shooting 28% from 3pt, Dort is 31% and Giddey is 30%.  All of them have low overall FG% as well.  Think we have enough guys that struggle to make a basket.

So the Celtics just get younger and younger and younger. Not sure how that is going to play with Tatum who probably doesn't want these guys taking 3-4 years to get up to speed on what it takes to win in the playoffs.

When Brown and Tatum have played in the playoffs, they have made a great duo and have had a ton of success for guys age 23 and 25. You add veteran talent to them for more playoff success. Guys like Harrison Barnes or Fred VanVleet. Guys with a playoff pedigree.

You don't move one of the Jays for guys that are teenagers or just hit their drinking age and that probably have trouble spelling playoffs nevermind knowing how to play in them.

You really wouldn't make this trade. You can probably flip SGA or Dort for another position of need. Even left alone this team would win more games than our current roster.

Plus your adding much needed passing.  12 plus assists per game would be huge for Tatum and company.  A much deeper team than what we have currently.

Timelord
Horford
Tatum
SGA
Giddey

Smart, GWILL,  Dort, Schroder, Richardson,

Prichard,  Romeo, Nesmith

Suddenly we have 10 NBA players in our rotation.  Right now it's seven

Very close if last year is an indication of their ceiling
