I mentioned this in another thread.
I think it's difficult to get a limited player like Pritchard on the court, given our current rotation. He's a 6'1" shooter who can't defend very well (even though he tries) and doesn't create enough to viably run the offense. Ideally, yes, we could really use his shooting. But you can't really run him alongside Schroder off the bench because that just makes us way too small. So it's hard to find opportunities to use him.
You can fit him into lineups with adequate size and shot creation. Say, with one of our larger guards, at least one of the Jays, and Horford. But on units that lack those things, I think he creates more problems for us than he does the opponent.
And yes, I agree that we need to do a better job of seeking out shots for him when he does get minutes. EDIT TO ADD: He's averaging three shots in about thirteen minutes per game. That's plenty for a player with a small role. If he earns a larger job, he'll get more shots. So I really don't have an issue for the number of shots he's getting for the time being.
