Udoka called him instant offense. That's what I see. He comes into the game and just makes things happen offensively. That's a valuable guy to have. Because of his defense and inconsistent shooting, he might not be a big minute every night guy but I bet he's a guy who wins a playoff game or two when someone else doesn't have it.

Why did he only play nine minutes?

Why did Brown play 37 minutes while playing like crap on a sore knee?

Same answer:  Ime doesn’t know what he’s doing.

He is new.   This is a new team and new system for them and him.  It is very early in the season.   I agree he has his faults.

He is almost playing a playoff rotation and doesn't seem to trust the bench guys.   Now is the time to see if they can play not later in the year.
The rest of the east improved and the question remains did we?   I like our roster better than last year.   I was not a fan of the Smart or Richardson extensions.   Resigning Kanter was dumb if he is not going to play.   Romeo is hurt, Nesmith is not trusted by the coaching staff and they do not care for Juancho it would seem.  But a lot of other team improved a lot and we maybe in some increments.

It was really dumb. The good coaches go deep all year round, especially against the lesser teams. We haven't even played any of the top teams yet and the rotation is 7-8 guys.
