C’s are now 10 games over .500 and only 1.5 games out of 3rd place. Team is on a roll.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

it is crazy that this years team's road scoring differential is better than 1986.
I was back in HS then, but the C's seemed unstoppable that year.

I think they relaxed a bit on the road.  If I’m remembering right, 40-1 at home, so 27-14 on the road?

Yep. And if memory serves, they never lost a 1986 playoff game at home either, and only lost three times on the road those playoffs (twice to Houston in the Finals). Best home record ever. Only way to top it is by being undefeated at home for an entire regular season and playoffs. Darn shame they lost one game at home in the regular season otherwise they’d be known as the “undefeated at home” team, and probably therefore held in higher regard than those 1980s Lakers teams.

Jay King: Ime Udoka said the Celtics will limit Al Horford’s minutes “as much as we can.” Grant Williams will start in his place.  – via Twitter ByJayKing

I'm ok with this and I hope Grant will take more 3s from the corner.

Marc Stein: The Celtics are planning to sign Matt Ryan to a two-way contract, league sources say. Ryan currently plays in the @nbagleague for the @NBAGrandRapids Gold. More NBA from me: marcstein.Substack.com – via Twitter TheSteinLine

I don’t get it. Other teams are signing proven NBA players for their playoff push and the C’s keep bringing in more G-leaguers.

We can always use passing. If he can throw a football 40 yards, he should be able to pass a basketball  8)
