Top 5 guys

The main 3 MVP candidates are clearly the top 3 with Jokic, Embiid and Giannis. I lean towards Doncic as my next best player. Then Steph or Durant as my 5th. Tatum might be next. Heck, maybe he deserves to be on a par with those two.

I salivate at the thought of what Doncic could do on this Celtics team if he swapped places with Tatum. It would be so nice to see Doncic play with some real help around him.

I am not sure who else is in the top 10. Harden has lost his spot. Kawhi has been injured for so long I am no longer sure he is there.

Towns? He is soft ... but maybe.

Ohh, Jimmy Butler. Quietly having a terrific playoffs as well. 28ppg on 54% FG% 37% on threes 82% FTs on 8 attempts per game. A TS% of 63.5%. Leading all players in steals (2.2spg). 7.6rpg and 5.6apg.

Who else is in the top ten?
Morant? Lillard? CP3? Booker? PG13?

For what it is worth Nick Wright posted his Club Superstar (which is always 12 members) earlier this week.  He didn't put them in order I don't think but had the following 12 guys

Giannis, Luka, Embiid, Jokic, Durant, Steph, Lebron, CP3, Morant, Tatum, Kawhi, Lillard

I don't think there are that many complaints with those guys being the top 11 and then the odd situation of Kawhi being hurt (though on talent he is clearly a top 12 player).
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

CP3 and Morant maybe, and maybe Lillard might be the fringe ones - just my impression

I don't necessarily have a horse in this race (i.e. I don't have anyone specific that might replace them)

Looks like Miami will be advancing after tonight. 6-0 run to start the 4th and 17-point lead

I'm not going to put anything in stone regarding a 14 point lead with 9+ minutes left (man, it hurts to think about), but if PHI does lose, that's got to be killer. Don't get me wrong, losing 3 ECF's doesn't make me feel great about life; but the Sixers continually not being able to get past the 2nd round must be super-frustrating for them and their fans.

Yeah they could still come back. If they don't though, then honestly it's hard to really say they choked. I mean, Embiid clearly isn't 100% and it's a big surprise he even played this series given what the reports were saying before. I think if they had a healthy Embiid from the start they'd win the series tbh. But that's the other thing. Embiid's a baller and I respect him a lot for toughing it out, but at some point you also wonder if he can be relied upon in terms of health. The injuries this season weren't his fault (they were flukey) but it's been the theme for most of his career.

Also they have a Harden decision coming up. I mean, they'll extend him but boy, 270M for a guy who yet again is disappearing when the team needs him in the postseason. Yikes. He has 9 points tonight in 36 minutes

Butler is the best player in this series. Philly should have never let him go. The 76ers have no heart.

Road team winning Game 6. Maybe the road team tomorrow could win Game 6.

Hindsight is 20/20 but man if they kept Butler and let Simmons go, the Sixers would be true Finals favorites IMO. Butler's also a proven postseason performer which PHI could use, as Harden yet again is proving he's a choker in these moments

Heat were my biggest concern in the EC coming into the season, but they're not the juggernaut Philly made them out to be.

Not a Sixers fan obviously but I'd give Embiid a standing ovation. Huge respect to him coming back and helping this team try to win the series, especially when it looked like he could have been out a while (probably the whole series). There's no question he's got heart

Where are the refs at? Shouldn’t they be doing there thing working to extend the series. League is missing out on a good chunk of change... 12 fouls called on the Heat, 16 on Philly. Really poor performance by the 76ers. Thought this was going to be a close series.
