Think the East versus west debate is getting close to the point of no return. East has had way more injuries and covid and is a season high 14 games over the season. We are not like 8 games in anymore. About 20-25% of season in so far. Sorry for those on the other side
The East is 37-32 against the West at this point in the season. The gap keeps shrinking it is not going the other way. There are 5 games tonight and the West is favored in 3: GS at Det, Chi at Den, Tor at Sac with the East favored in the LAL at Bos and OKC at Mil games. However, there are 4 games on Saturday and the East should be favored in at least 3 if not all 4, but there are 2 more games Sunday in which the West should be favored in both.
I have them at 8 over here. Is this incorrect? https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/east-vs-west-nba-records-2022
This is higher than it was a week ago. What site are you using?
Their actual record. The East is 5 games over .500, the West is 5 games under .500. 37-32 is the 5 game difference in standings.
Again this site has them as 37-29. It may be inaccurate, so again, what site are you using. Answer is time with out become a complete egotistical jerk. This site very well could be wrong/outdated but would like to know an easier place to look without the pointless attitude.
I will say again, and this isn't me being a jerk, it is the actual standings. The East is 119-114 on the season. The West is 110-115 on the season. The 5 game difference is thus the difference in their record in the head to head match-ups.
https://www.espn.com/nba/standings/_/view/vs-division69 games, East has won 37, West has won 32
And if you are going to site something to call someone a jerk, you probably should make sure it is accurate. The site you are using has completely ignored Toronto. Toronto is 0-3 against the West, and that is the difference.
