So Kyrie has just refused to play, eh?

*aherm*

... hehheheheheheheheheheheheheheheh ehehheheheheh ehehe hehehehe he e ehhehehehehehehe

hehe

yup! :'D

It is kinda hilarious. Is he getting paid?

He’s getting paid for road games where he’d be allowed to play, because the Nets have told him to stay home those games.  He’s not getting paid for home games since it’s his choice to be unavailable for those games by being unvaccinated.

Thoroughly enjoying the Warriors clapping the Nets.

This season I got;

1. Warrs
2. Lake show
3. Nets

If they ever get healthy, I think Denver could be the second best team in the West. Bucs should come out of the East again if Kyrie is out the whole season.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

The Timberwolves this season is a great example of what happens with a lack of patience with a promising young core. Minnesota had Towns, Wiggins, and Lavine, all born in 1995 with KAT having one less year as a pro.

They traded a 22 year old Lavine after his 3rd year to pair a young core with Butler, won the 8th seed, were eliminated in the 1st round of the playoffs, and Butler wanted out the following season because he felt his teammates didn’t care about winning as much as he did. They traded a 24 year old Wiggins in his 6th season (and the pick that was used to select Kuminga) for a 23 year old D’angelo Russell in his 5th season.

Both players have continued to improve and be integral pieces on better teams, while the Timberwolves flounder tied for 11th in the West.

This isn’t 2k or a game played on paper, young players have to mature into winning players with the rare ATG speeding up the process. Patience!

I can see that happen, aye.

I can also see Kyrie getting back a couple games past the All-star break, and making the Nets no.1 contenders on my list.

Giannis in a GQ interview stated that he may leave Milwaukee to go somewhere else seeking for more challenges in perhaps two more years.

I can smell LeBron and Davis trying to recruit him to Hollywood-land.

Brad should fix something up and lure him to Boston though.

That would be a shame. Well, Hopefully Kyrie continues to be.... Kyrie.

Don't sleep on the Bulls.  They look like a really good team, and they're fun to watch.

They do look good and I like watching them play, however, I don’t think they have a guy that can dominate in the playoffs. You need that in order to win a championship.

Yeah, much like DeRozan's Toronto teams, the Bulls will be a regular season team.  Far more likely to lose in the first round then even make the Finals.

I know I am going to get laughed at for saying this but I think Lavine could actually be pretty good in the playoffs. He is a really good shot creator and has really developed the last two seasons. This then puts demar in a secondary role for which he is better suited. I also like ball as a smart phone that is solid defensively. Biggest concern I would see is their team getting destroyed in the front court defensively. I do think we could beat them healthy, but they could also beat us, especially with homecourt.

Yeah, I’m not sure if LaVine is that guy. Could be, just haven’t seen it yet. Also, what do you mean you like ball as a smart phone.

I agree with you.

I think people need to go back and watch what LaVine did last year.  His offensive numbers were excellent and ridiculously efficient, and he was doing it without a credible #2 on the roster until Vuc showed up at the trade deadline.

I absolutely think he can score against playoff defense.  Like you, my concern with the Bulls has more to do with whether their defense holds up (a lot of defensive negatives for opponents to attack in that rotation) than whether somebody can be That Guy for them in the playoffs.

In regards to the Bulls, I'm more concerned with DeFrozen than I am with LaVine. Dude is a playoffs choker, through and through.
