Don't sleep on the Bulls.  They look like a really good team, and they're fun to watch.

They do look good and I like watching them play, however, I don’t think they have a guy that can dominate in the playoffs. You need that in order to win a championship.

I know I am going to get laughed at for saying this but I think Lavine could actually be pretty good in the playoffs. He is a really good shot creator and has really developed the last two seasons. This then puts demar in a secondary role for which he is better suited. I also like ball as a smart phone that is solid defensively. Biggest concern I would see is their team getting destroyed in the front court defensively. I do think we could beat them healthy, but they could also beat us, especially with homecourt.
You're right, I am going to laugh at you. I don't particularly like Ball as a smart phone. Now as an iphone, maybe!

🤣🤣🤣

So what does everyone think about the good start for Washington, Cleveland, Chicago, and even somewhat the Knicks.
Are those teams going to be in the top 6 in the East at the end of the year?  Early season mirage?

I feel that at least 3 of them are going to come back down to earth and be replaced by Milwaukee, Boston, and Philly.
Anyone think any of those 4 are for real?

It feels like the West is starting to shake out more with the best teams already rising to the top.  The East, not so much yet.

Butler and Middletown come back tonight and a lead their teams to wins over west opponents. Bulls still without vucevic, fall to blazers after leading most of the game. Brown, Embid, lebron will all be back soon as league hopefully keeps getting healthier. (Wondering if simmons or irving will play at all this year)

He is a good shot creator and seems to like the late-game spotlight.  The Bulls also have a top 10 defense, youth, and depth.

Tobias Harris is just bad.  Hasn't stepped up at all in Philly (especially when Embiid is out) and they often play better without him.  He seems to be the classic sort of empty stats player.  I have no idea if they can move him and his massive contract, but he is the guy they should be actively trying to move
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

He is the OTHER guy they should be looking to move. Clearly they HAVE to move Simmons. He wants no part of Philly and the feeling is mutual with Philly.

Reminiscent of early years of Rudy Gay. His aversion to contact leads to less free throws and turns what could be a very efficient swing scorer into a meh one with high usage.

I've always liked him. At his best he is a good distributor as well.

Well yeah they have to move Simmons because he won't play for them, but basketball wise, Harris has always been the much larger problem.  I mean the last 3 games against Atlanta, Harris was 19 of 55 (34.5%) overall and 4 of 13 (30.8%) from 3.  He just didn't step up at all.

Watching Philly vs Denver now. It amazes me how a guy with such physical ability like Drummond is so bad. Goes  to show how important BB IQ is, which he seems to have none.
On the other hand, Maxey is looking like a baller

Think the East versus west debate is getting close to the point of no return. East has had way more injuries and covid and is a season high 14 games over the season. We are not like 8 games in anymore. About 20-25% of season in so far. Sorry for those on the other side
