Ah, I see. I was imagining Michael Olowokandi, but Mark "7 footer that averages less than 5 rebound" Blount works as well.

Even an Embiid at clearly less than 100% is a huge difference for the Sixers. I see this series going 7 with the Sixers possibly pulling it out now. The Heat have not been impressive.

I gotta say, I enjoy seeing a half-dead Embiid punk Adebayo after all of the whining Bam did for being left out of the DPOY conversation.  I don't dislike Bam but that's fun to watch anyway.

Miami is so overrated..
Quoting Nick from the now locked Ime thread:
Quote
At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Exactly. He had the nerve to dump on Smart's award by whining about his perceived snub. Then put up or shut up. He can't even handle Zombie Embiid.

On a related note, Embiid has heart and toughness. He's a true oldschool NBA player.

Lazy centers in the NBA are a dying breed

Whiteside might be the last of them

I guess I'll have to look forward to Sim Bhullar playing in Taiwan

Honestly, I find Luka kind of annoying to watch. Just foul hunts 24/7 and complains if any little bit of contact is not called a foul for him, even when it's obviously him embellishing.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

I feel bad for him. The rest of team around is almost as bad as the nuggets were (without mjp or murray) how anyone thought these teams were good teams in todays nba is so beyond me.

I did find it hilarious when he flung himself into a stationary Ayton, didn't get a call, and then threw a small tantrum on the floor over the injustice of it all.

I do wish the league would do something about the foul-baiting.  Really every single team has multiple players guilty of it at this point.

This might be the game the mavs get in this series. Outworking suns on glass and no turnovers.
