Good night for us standings-wise. Both Nets and Heat are going to lose, and both Memphis and GS were missing their stars, too!

Grizzlies keep winning without Morant.  Starting to be a big enough sample size now as well.  Is Morant so bad defensively that he doesn't really make Memphis better?
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

Lebron is blatantly playing huge minutes in the games he plays and then sitting out games in order to keep his scoring average as high as possible.
He gets almost a week off by not playing tonight though.  Given his age and knee it actually makes a fair amount of sense strategically.  I also don't think him play 40 minutes v. 30 minutes would have altered that determination.

Memphis is a really deep well-coached team. I think Morant is a little overhyped by this point but he's a good offensive player.

Spo to busy fighting with Butler on bench to do any coaching .

That team has serious player / Mgmt issues.   They were fighting each other and not GS.  :P

I didn't realize there was anything like that brewing beneath the surface for Miami.  Thought they had been playing pretty well.

Maybe "Heat culture" doesn't fit Butler perfectly, after all.  Maybe he's going to get on his bulls*** eventually no matter which jersey he puts on.
