So if the Wizards land Dinwiddie

G: Dinwiddie, Neto
G: Beal, KCP
F: Kuzma, Avijda, Bongo
F: Hachimura, Bertans
C: Thomas Bryant, Montrez Harrell

That is a pretty solid 1 through 10. Won't set the world on fire or anything but it has a real shot at being a playoff team.
Better lineup than the Celtics as of right now
Better lineup and better bench.

Maybe but not at all the same potential. Washington is first round exit for years with that. Celtics only this year... Not saying Beal is waiting for a long long time.
If Beal wasn’t Tatum's best buddy I would be stressed but it is a reach to the buddyest team league right now.

"Yam Madar: I'm planning on playing for the Celtics this year"

well umm, huh? lol

Sorry, hurts our flexibility.

Maybe it is the best thing to give him the 3rd spot... More than another vet who would be here for 1Y..  If we have a vet guy who will play for min next year then yes go for him.

They’ll just use the MLE to sign him because no one else will sign as a FA at this point.

Yeah, but we might need to add a second year.  Sorry, can’t take on multiple years.  Flexibility.

Your flexibility is inflexible.

Drummond to 76ers for minimum. I wonder if he took discount to go there? Would have loved him here at this price. He is an upgrade over howard. So lakers downgrade and get old 76ers upgrade and get younger.

I think the Lakers are finally going all in on small ball with AD at the 5 and Lebron at the 4, Drummond decided to go to another team with a fresh start if he has to come off the bench.

Sounds like we’re comfortable with Smart as our starting PG.

Hopefully this means we’re looking for a stopgap and/or long-time starter at PF. Maybe there are legs to the talk around us sniffing around Bagley (likely) or even Collins (less likely).

Bagley may actually be the best route to take a chance on if we can get him for a reasonable price, given that we can essentially cut him/not resign him the following year (I believe) if the Beal/free agent thing actually happens next summer.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

The money of the contract really become stupid depending on who signs and which teams is signing. The real value of a Drummond is beetwin 12 and 15M for me. At the same time Allen and Allen are around 20M... Bull.....

Has there been any reports linking us to Bagley? I've only seen speculation around here and on Reddit, but I can't find the report.

Man, I wish we had a real PG who could push the ball in transition and create dribble penetration in the halfcourt. Someone who can play with pace. Someone who can create easy shots for his teammates.

Cameron Payne signed for 3 years $19million. We should have beaten that offer.
