Drummond to Philly for a 1 year deal. Philly and the lakers practically swapped bigs.

https://www.thescore.com/nba/news/2190405

Might be interesting to see those Philly practices if Embiid and Drummond are constantly matching up.  Does Embiid still own real estate in Drummond's head, and does Embiid bait and trash talk teammates the same way he does opponents?

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

I heard we are " Interested in Reggie Jackson" lol.

From where? He’s a legit option. He’s more of an iso/scorer like Rozier, and it seems like pbs is looking for ball movers/shooters at that position, but he would definitely help.

Amazing how few (none?) PGs are left in FA that do that. They are all scorer types or extremely limited. No passers / creators / floor general ball mover types.

It’s interesting how there was a lot of reaction like “ finally, Vead will do what Danny wouldn’t snd get us some players!” Now we’re much worse. I have no problem with the direction. It’s just silly, though. Danny would be getting destroyed in Boston right now doing what Brad has done so far.

It would be nice if the type of players we had playing sling the jays would be similar in style to what we’d hoped for in a future contender. Instead the offense ( as is) could be ugly at times. I think moving on from Kemba was necessary but he was also capable of putting up 20 or more here and there. Fournier could get hot.
A team with Jrich has to have player movement snd I dint think that’s been a Brad thing..

I just read that the Celtics "Have Interest" in Danny Green. Interesting. If he wants a vet minimum contract for one year then we're his team.

He’s be an awesome veteran presence. His teams have almost always played more confidently with him on the floor.

Exactly.  It seems like even the vet min guys are avoiding us completely.  Why would Green be any different?
But I would be happy with Green at this point.

Smart / Green / Brown / Tatum / Horford
PP / J Rich / Nesmith / (??) / Timelord

or swap Green and have J Rich start, either way it is a big improvement to the bench.

Unfortunately we’re like a broke, ugly guy trying to land a date.

So if the Wizards land Dinwiddie

G: Dinwiddie, Neto
G: Beal, KCP
F: Kuzma, Avijda, Bongo
F: Hachimura, Bertans
C: Thomas Bryant, Montrez Harrell

That is a pretty solid 1 through 10. Won't set the world on fire or anything but it has a real shot at being a playoff team.

Better lineup than the Celtics as of right now

I was just going to say the same thing.  It is close, but it feels like the Wiz would put up more points than us.
